Overall Experience

My husband was cared for at Linden Manor for 6 weeks and if I lived in Wellingborough I would have never moved him. My husband was a poorly man when he arrived from hospital but over the weeks with the care and attention he had from all the staff (including the kitchen and domestic staff) he became (for him in his condition) healthy again, eating normally again and feeling content as he knew he was being cared for for properly. I often caught a staff member dealing with another resident and never once did I hear a short word spoken but words of endearment I often heard. This home has a lovely ethos which is felt as soon as you enter. Yes it's an old house but don't judge a book by its cover. Thank you all for the care you gave my husband.

Since admission into Linden Manor in December of 2022 the care received for my Mother and Father inlaw has been excellent.
Despite both elderly people having different complex needs they were still able to receive the care and attention required.
We have always considered them to be in a safe secure environment with their well being always a top priority.
The manager lead her team very well and has always been available should we have any issues to discuss or resolve.

Sending our heartfelt thanks for all Linden Manor has done during the time they have been in their care.

I am absolutely delighted with the level of care my elderly mother receives at this care home.
The staff are thoughtful and kind and ensure my mother has all her physical and emotional needs met.
All the staff are familiar with my mother's needs , her daily routines and personal preferences.
Her individual care plan is reviewed frequently and adapted accordingly to her current circumstances.
They are happy to chat with us on every visit about her physical and mental health. She has just celebrated her 100th birthday at the home, and she was joined by family, friend's and carers for an amazing party.
Her ongoing longevity is a reflection of the high standard of care that is provided by this amazing team of people, expertly guided by the friendly experienced management team.

My mother and her family feel truly blessed and very lucky to have found this care home and we can't thank them enough for the care and dedication they provide on a daily basis.

We are very impressed with the level of care given to our mum. All of the staff are very attentive and have taken the time to really get to know her. The meals are exceptional and the residents are offered regular snacks throughout the day.
Activities are arranged frequently.

Staff are also very welcoming to family and friends and are also inclusive.

I was very kindly taken into Linden Manor an Alzheimer's care home, after an unfortunate ankle breakage, for respite, as I wasn't allowed to put weight on my ankle for a least 4 weeks and wasn't able to go home.
I was a little apprehensive as I wasn't quite sure what to expect. I need not have worried as all the staff where very friendly and kind, albeit the pressure and demands that a busy care home puts upon them serving the needs of patients washing, feeding, dressing and keeping constant attention upon their needs, all this is done with a professional and kind care that is needed and provided.
A special shout out for everyone who remembers me. I wish you and all your kind staff a very happy 2025. The food was always delicious, I miss the breakfasts, also the weekend lady.

Thank you to the carers for the care.

Cannot praise the manager and staff enough for the care given to my father both physically and emotionally. Also the understanding and support given to family members both during his care and his passing. It’s an old house and may not have all the amenities but it is a Home.

It's with a sad heart that I am doing this review as my mum passed away in May.
But when my mum moved to Linden Manor from day one, she improved in so many ways. The staff are superb at what they do, making the residents feel at home and the families welcome.

I would recommend this care home to anyone who is in the sad position that a family member needs a care home.

To have the staff at Linden Manor treat your family members like their own is what stands out for me. Total peace of mind that our aunt is getting the love and care she needs. Everyone there goes above and beyond. It's the staff that make that place a 'home' for their residents.

Michele (Shelley) Pirie
Michele (Shelley) PirieJob Title:Registered ManagerJoined: 2013

I began work in a nursing home and really enjoyed it, but took time off to bring up my family. I began working for Regal Care in 2013. I started off as a carer 2 nights a week as I was a single mother with a young child. I was asked to join the day team and was promoted to a senior position after around 6 months. I enjoyed the role, especially the medication side, and after 4 years, I was asked to go to our sister home and help out, which I did and really enjoyed it, so I requested a transfer. I was then promoted to head of care and enjoyed the role very much, attending the Gold standard framework training and autism training. These are just a couple of examples.

I really like the fact that this company enables me to gain more and more knowledge regarding my job while also being understanding of the fact that I have a young child.

After 4 years at the sister home, I was asked to return to Linden Manor as the Deputy Manager, which I agreed to, and after 2 years became the registered manager. It makes me feel fulfilled in my role when I see how happy and relaxed the residents are. My motto to my staff is this may be where we work, but it is the resident's home. My aim is to ensure that every individual who comes into Linden Manor receives outstanding care.
