Loose Court Care Home

Finding a home for mum was a worrying and scary time. The management who visited us explained so well and invited Mum and my sister and I over for a tea. From the moment we arrived the home felt like a home away from home. Mum has been there since March 2026 and she has blossomed. She is so happy and involved in all the activities the home provide. We cannot say thank you enough for their support help and happiness towards all clients and their family!

My mother, Pamela, was a resident of LCCH for a few years. Her Alzheimer's Dementia slowly clouded her mind and upon occasion, could be challenging. She died a few days ago. Originally, she was situated in another care home that, although was very 'pretty', lacked compassion and constantly smelled. My mother would ask if she had been 'good' that day. Her time with Karen's team has been second to none. The environment has never been anything other than home for her, it has never had a smell and she had always been clean and smart and she smiled. The bonding of staff to each resident, their knowledge of each person's character, their time and understanding spent with families, afforded me the confidence, the peace of mind knowing that she was in the very best hands. Each and every staff member worked together to ensure consistent assurance that she was the most important reason they were there. The same assurance given to all. Loose Court cared for my Mother in law with love ,care and compassion, in the 2 1/2 years that she was in the care of Loose Court she was always happy clean well dressed and well fed and most of all she was loved, every member of staff were kind and caring , we never had an issue with the care Pam received and even when she was having bad days, we always knew that the staff knew exactly what to do to calm things with hugs kisses and cups of tea or a bowl of ice cream not to mention the odd chocolate, staff always included her in any activity that was happening no one was ever excluded.Loose Count became a second home to us and staff became friends and we were always happy to leave Pam in their care .

Loose Court is not only an exceptional care home, but also a family home and within resides one big happy family. I cannot fault it. Thank you for everything you did for my mum and dad. I shall miss seeing you all.

Loose Court Care staff and management went above and beyond providing care and support to mum over the three years mum and originally, Dad, were there. There was so much care and attention provided to Mum and Dad that we were not aware of until recently, when Mum passed away. The end-of-life care given to mum and her family was exemplary and given with great dignity. The management and staff are worth their weight in gold.

My Aunty was a resident in Loose Court Care Home for 3 years and our family could not fault the care that she received. The Management and Staff are so caring and it really is a family atmosphere that envelopes the whole home. I would like to praise the end-of-life care that my aunty received and the staff were so considerate to the relatives too.

A caring and compassionate care home who's management and staff do all in their power to give my husband a happy and safe place to be in. I have also heard from other healthcare professionals along the dementia path, what a good reputation this care home provides. As a family we feel very blessed and grateful he is with them and so well looked after.

I cannot fault the care given to my mother-in-law, she and myself are always treated with kindness by all of the staff. The residents are well cared for with numerous activities to keep them engaged. The care home rooms are clean, bright and homely, I would thoroughly recommend Loose Court to anybody in need of residential care.

Buildings can be nice, but it is the staff that make a care home good. I could not have wished for a better place for Dad to spend the last years of his life. All the staff, no matter what their role, were always kind, friendly and caring. Their ability to adapt to the changing needs that Dementia brings is excellent. The dignity, respect and support shown to Dad and the family in his final days will always stay with me. So many thanks.

Dad was treated with respect, courtesy and love. The activities were plentiful and varied. Communication with the family was excellent. No other words apart from excellent, excellent, excellent. Well done to all the team.

Even during this sadness and grief the home have checked in on me and have helped me look back at this difficult journey of dementia with many good memories meaningful occasions and visits and I cannot thank each and everyone of the staff enough.

I would not hesitate to recommend Loose Court to anyone and I have done a couple of times in the past.

Have recently placed my auntie in Loose Court Care Home. She did not really want to go, but she has settled in very well. Said very happy to end her days there and looks at the care home as home. The staff are always cheerful and ready to help. Things have worked out really well. Thank you.

I cannot fault the standard of care at Loose Court Care Home. The carers, management and other staff are kind, efficient and professional. They make the residents feel happy, stimulated, well cared for, safe and loved. The atmosphere is warm and friendly. I am so pleased I chose Loose Court for my husband who has young-onset dementia. It has become his home now and everyone there is part of his family. An excellent care home in every respect!
