My mother who had Dementia, heart problems and very little sight spent the final 18 months of her life at Loose Court when it became unsafe for her to be at home without 24-hour supervision. I visited twice a week, every week and was always warmly welcomed. There was always plenty of staff on duty,
alert to whatever residents needed. The residents were treated with dignity, patience and kindness. They were encouraged to join in with activities each day and had regular visits from entertainers. During my mother's final 6 weeks when she was in and out of hospital and clearly failing she was always welcomed back and received excellent care. A special bed with an air pump to prevent bed sores was provided and she was visited every hour to ensure she was comfortable. Her passing away was very peaceful and I will never forget the kindness and compassion that both she (and I) were shown.

My husband has been a resident for 2 1/2 years. He is very well cared for, the carers give him so much love and attention. I am made to feel at home, I visit every day always offered a hot drink and made to feel very welcome. The food is excellent all home cooking. Housekeeping is so good the staff
work very hard all are very dedicated to looking after the residents.

My mother has been in the care home for 3 years and is now on 'end of life'. She has been treated with respect and dignity and is kept extremely clean and comfortable. The situation is as pleasant as it could be under the circumstances.

Placing a loved one into care is a daunting and almost overwhelming experience, but it did not take me long to put any concerns I may have had to one side, given the care and support my wife gets at Loose Court. The staff are simply amazing so much patience and care for all of the residents and they
gel wonderfully as a team. All great teams need a great manager and this home is managed extremely well. Each resident brings a different challenge but the team confronts each challenge head on so that you never feel anyone is over-looked or marginalised in any way. Attention to detail is spot on.


The atmosphere is always warm, and so visiting the home is an uplifting experience and one that I look forward to every time I visit. The accommodation and laundry service is very good, the food is excellent, and there always seems to be something going on with regular events and activities.


I have no hesitation in fully recommending Loose Court.

Whenever I have visited father I have observed caring, genuine warmth displayed to all residents of Loose Court. Any concerns are dealt with quickly without any loss of dignity. Nothing is too much trouble it seems and both residents and visitors are given time. (That applies to all staff!)
My father
has been encouraged to settle in and seems to be very happy. His care is much better than his recent time spent in hospital. Food is also v.g. Thank you to all at Loose Court.

Mother-in-law has settled well into life at Loose Court Care Home we believe due to amazing patience, understanding and care of the team and staff. They provide support for not only the residents but us the family also.
I cannot fault them or the home at all, friendly, professional, caring, patient

Mum seems happy at the home staff are always very helpful and friendly. I feel satisfied that mum is in good hands., which allows our family not to worry for her well-being. The home is always organising events which are great for the residents.

Mum has been a resident at Loose Court since October 2015 and has advanced dementia. She continues to receive exceptional care from the wonderful staff who are genuinely kind, friendly and helpful. The newly decorated home has a warm, relaxed and happy atmosphere and although Mum is unable to participate,
so many activities are on offer to stimulate and enhance the lives of residents who are able. We are kept well informed about all aspects of Mum's care and health and when we visit often feel like staying for lunch as the menus look so delicious. We would have no hesitation in recommending Loose Court, the staff have given us so much peace of mind we can't thank them enough.

My friend has been a resident at Loose Court for over nine years, suffering from Alzheimer's.
From late October 2016, there was a marked decline in her physical health. She suffered a number of falls and on each occasion, a doctor or paramedic was called promptly. She was admitted to hospital twice
but after treatment returned to Loose Court. The staff did their best to encourage and help with feeding and drinking but as her condition declined they provided excellent bed rest for her.
Their standard of care was so good that her son, who lives in America but visited her about three weeks before her death, decided it was better for her to stay at Loose Court where she died in December.

Mum spent just over three years at Loose Court Care Home during which time she was cared for to an exceptional level. We randomly visited so saw the home in action at all different times. She was extremely well cared for and was very happy. There were times when her dementia caused issues but these
were handled efficiently and quickly. She liked her hair, makeup and nails polished, best outfit on which they undertook with pleasure. Mum was able to stay at Loose Court as they considered it her home for her end of life care. There are no words to express my gratitude to everyone at Loose Court Care Home.

Cannot fault the care home at Loose Court Care Home or the staff. They looked after my mother very well from the day she went in until the day she passed away. They got her a hospital bed for her comfort and never left her on her own in her final hours.

The staff knew my uncle by name and treated him and other residents sympathetically. He always praised the food. My uncle was placed in the care home as a respite measure. They were very accommodating

Right from when we came in the door I knew my husband would be well cared for. The staff are really caring. I come to visit often always a cup of tea for me. I cannot say enough good about Loose Court no problems if he has to come again.

I first started my caring career over 30 years ago, I started as a health care assistant, then as a senior carer at Loose Court to deputy manager, where after completing my level 5 in management, I took the position of registered manager. I have worked at Loose Court for over 12 years and together with my deputy manager we have established a fantastic team of staff.
