Crossways is excellently well run, with excellent communication between staff and family members. We are so grateful to the Crossways manager and his team for making Mum's final years so happy and contented.
Thank you for your lovely review. It was a pleasure and a privilege to have cared for your mother and meet all her family. She is indeed fondly remembered.
I cannot recommend Crossways highly enough. The amazing team are led from the front by an equally amazing manager who is just as likely to be seen assisting the residents or serving meals as sat in an office. The staff are courteous, kind and always smiling, and the activities coordinator always has great ideas to encourage people to participate, whether that's painting, exercises or a quiz. The food is good and plentiful and there's always a cup of tea going! We are so glad to have found Crossways for our lovely Mum.
Thank you for your kind words. It was a joy and a privilege to care for your lovely mum.
Overall we are very happy and would recommend.
Thank you for your kind words. It is a pleasure and a privilege to care for your mum.
I can not thank Crossways enough for caring for my Dad in his last two months. My Dad wanted for nothing due to the staff's caring nature, attentiveness and love. We found all to be superb. Manager Kalvin was great at keeping me up to date, and my dads 'right hand man', Manu, had a special bond. A warm welcome from staff was also on hand with every visit. Lastly, thanks to Chef Glenn for his amazing, wholesome meals, which were a real highlight.
It was a pleasure and a privilege to care for your dad even if just for a short while.
I have been very happy in this care home - it couldn't be any better. The staff has always been helpful and have put my mind at ease if I have been worried about my anxiety. Food is very good. I would always recommend this home to any friends and anyone thinking of getting their friends and parents into this lovely and relaxing care home.
Thank you for your lovely review. It is a pleasure and a privilege to have you here at Crossways.
I cannot speak highly enough of the care and compassion shown to my husband, especially during the later days of his life at Crossways, for which I shall always be grateful. I rate them over 100% and highly recommend.
Thank you so much for your lovely review. It was a privilege to care for your husband and get to know you and your family.
My mother lived at Crossways for over 7 years, initially as respite and then permanently. The size and location of Crossways make it feel like a family home, and it is easy to integrate and get to know everyone. The management team and staff are excellent, well trained, friendly and compassionate. They treated my mother as an individual and I always felt that she was safe and secure and well cared for. The home is well run with plenty of facilities and social activities. I was always kept informed of any health issues and the team made sure that she received any medication required or visits from the Dr. I can highly recommend Crossways to anyone looking for respite or permanent care.
Thank you very much for your kind review. It was a privilege to have known your mother, together with her family, over the past seven years.
My mother has been a resident at Crossways for over 3 years and has always been treated with great dignity and kindness. The staff are diligent and competent, as well as ethereal caring. Crossways is managed so well - good organisation is a friendly, homely environment. I would recommend Crossway to anyone. The staff are the best.
Thank you for your very kind words. It was a privilege knowing both you and your mother.
When I stepped inside the door of Crossways Residential Care Home, I knew this was the right place. Since then, received every care. All attention needed, reaching 100 years. What more can be said?
Thank you for your very kind review, it is a pleasure for us all to have you living at Crossways. Kind regards.
After two weeks in A&E then the trauma ward with 7 broken ribs and a broken scapula my daughters found Crossways Care Home for me to spend 2 weeks recuperating and aid my recovery. I found the home light, fresh, and airy, and to my relief did not smell like the usual old people's home. The cook served us excellent, nutritious home-cooked meals and I often had seconds. The staff were lovely, caring, helpful, and always friendly. Weather permitting I was usually enjoying the colourful garden. The manager was very hands-on, involved in the day-to-day running of the home, and always ready for a friendly chat.
Thank you for your very kind review. It was a pleasure to have met you and I'm glad you enjoyed your stay at Crossways Care Home.
My mum was looked after magnificently by all the staff at Crossways Residential Care Home for 16 months. The staff all looked after also Mama's relatives-they know us and understood us and cared for us all. The staff all accepted Mama into the Crossways family. I cannot sufficiently thank them all for all the love and care that they afforded to Mama and her family. If I had to spend my last days in a care home, I will only be too happy to spend them in Crossways.
Thank you so much for your very kind review. It was a privilege for all of us at Crossways to have known your mama and her family whilst she was here.
Crossways Care Home is a well-run and very welcoming home from home. Mum soon settled there and enjoyed having company and joining in with the activities. Her care was always gentle and kind, staff did all they could to make sure she was comfortable. Her end-of-life care also deserves much praise, there was always good communication with the family. Thank you all.
Crossways Residential Care Home was always so lovely to Mum and to us. Shortly after moving in, Mum became bedridden and needed a lot of care. The staff were always so kind to us and we knew they were doing their best for our mum. We were totally informed at all times and felt confident that Mum was in the best place. Towards the end of her life, it was obviously a very difficult time for us all and it helped that we were reassured along the way and able to spend as much time as we needed with her right up to the end.
Thank you for your very kind review. It was a pleasure for all of us to have known both your mum and her family.
During lockdowns, residents were kept safe and when visiting was restricted, I was comforted knowing Mum was being well looked after by people I trusted during what was a strange and difficult time for everyone.
Staff turnover is low as is the use of agency staff so good relationships are built up with the residents with continuity of care.
The garden is restful and beautifully maintained and I have fond memories of having a cuppa with Mum and her friends there under the apple tree in the summer.
Mum passed away at Crossways as was her wish and could not have had better care during her final weeks when everyone made sure of her comfort. I cannot thank them enough.
Thank you so much for your very kind review. It was a privilege for all of us at Crossways to have known your mum and her family.
I thoroughly recommend Crossways Residential Care Home.
Thank you very much for your kind words and positive review of Crossways. It was a pleasure for us all to have known your father and his family.
I have been a resident here for over four years and have always been very happy and contented. The staff - from management down have all been loving and caring, no matter what. Our families have been included also. I cannot praise them enough.
Thank you very much for your kind review and I'm very glad to hear you are happy at Crossways.
Exceptional care and compassion from highly professional, friendly and thoughtful staff.
Thank you for your very kind comments which we were pleased to receive.
I was encouraged to apply to Crossways Cre Home in Lindfield, West Sussex for my husband to stay for respite care, this was due to me not being able to look after him at home anymore. Within a very short time, I was able to take him in after the manager had visited our home to take the necessary details required, I was then able to rest and knew he was safe and well cared for. He is now able to stay full time and I can say that I cannot find any fault that does not give me every confidence that this was the very best for him. I have received care and support myself and all the staff are so kind, professional and cheerful. He has settled well and they are doing more than I would expect.
Thank you very much for your kind comments and we are so pleased that you are happy with the care being given at Crossways.
I have been very happy here and well looked after by all the staff. I recommend the home to anybody.
Thank you for your kind comments. We are very pleased that you chose to stay at Crossways for some respite care and it was a pleasure to have known you.
Crossways has a very relaxed homely atmosphere.
The staff are happy and friendly. Many have worked there for a long time. You can see they are really professional, dedicated and caring.
I cannot fault the care that my mum receives. She is treated as an individual and nothing is too much trouble.
It gives me a real peace of mind that my mum is safe, happy and well cared for by the team at Crossways.
Finally, I can see when I visited recently that they are doing all they can to be Covid safe.
Thank you for your very positive comments. We are all very fond of your mum and I am glad you are pleased with the care she is receiving at Crossways.
