Royal Garden Hotel has a Review Score of 9.3 (9.283) out of 10, based on 7 reviews in the last 2 years.
Over all time Royal Garden Hotel has 19 reviews.
My mother is 90 and still lives an active life. She goes out every day, sometimes for lunch or walks. She often takes a cab beck home to do a bit of gardening.
This was mums third stay at Royal Garden. It is great for respite care or full time living. They have an open day soon, and mum has arranged for a friend to come and visit with her to show her around. Think that says it all.
Many thanks for your kind words. It is our pleasure to look after you Mum, she is a really lovely lady.
We approached the hotel on his behalf, to ensure that the hotel could meet his needs, due to his age, and medical issues.
We called in, unannounced, and were immediately impressed with the attitude of the staff member who showed us around, and how clean and well maintained the property was. A good choice of rooms to suit his needs were available, plus there were areas and activities within the hotel for guests to use, to save them having to sit in their rooms.
My brother doesn't eat meat, and the morning after he arrived there, he was visited by the chef, who discussed his dietary preferences with him.
To say that during his 3 month stay, he was more than happy with the food, and staff, is something of an understatement!!
We can find nothing negative to stay about any aspect of the hotel, nor the way he, and we were treated.
Thank you for your kind words. It was our pleasure to look after your Brother.
This is my third visit to the Royal Garden Hotel. Two are recovering from hip replacements 2017 - 2025. One recovery after a bad fall - 2018. It is the perfect place to recover having lovely gardens, opposite to walk. The staff are all very friendly and nothing is to much trouble and make recovery so much easier. The overall feeling everyone cares.
Many thanks for your kind words. We will be here if you have need of us in the future.
My husband and I stayed here for 7 weeks whilst I had a fractured shoulder and could not manage at home. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and the weekly exercise class. The staff were so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble.
Thank you so much for your review, as always, it was a pleasure to support your convalescence and provide care for you and your husband. We very much hope to see you again in the future (minus the fracture, of course).
My parents, both in their late 90's have been in the Royal Garden Hotel for 2 months. They settled in quickly and are now in better health than they've been in for months. The staff are all welcoming, helpful, cheerful and kind. The food is excellent and the whole place is spotlessly clean. Mum and Dad enjoy the exercise classes and music concerts. I cannot praise the Royal Garden highly enough.
Many thanks for your kind words. It is our pleasure to look after your parents.
We could not have been treated any better - every member of staff have been so helpful and have made the time to speak to us. We both feel much better now but know it will not be too long before we come back for another holiday.
Thank you for your kind words. We look forward to welcoming you both back in the future.
Mum had to go in for respite on short notice and the Royal Garden took her in, made her feel at home, and looked after her superbly. All the staff was attentive and respectful, she was in for over two weeks in the end and loved her stay thank you very much.
Many thanks for your kind words. It was our pleasure to look after your Mum.
I was in for 12 days respite care which I have done before. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The food is well presented and my special requests were followed.
Thank you for your kind words. Looking forward to welcoming you back shortly.
My stay was marred by having to take painkillers, the result of abuse at the retirement complex in which I live and have done so for many years. I had hoped this would not be necessary as the two locations are around twelve miles apart. Even so as can be seen below I was delighted with the hotel. The view, the quality of the food, subtitles on the TV and all rooms luxury. If that were not enough a member of staff observed I had a slow puncture and rectified the problem on my motor car! Quite wonderful that such a hotel exists for the elderly.
Thank you for your kind words. They are much appreciated. I'm glad we spotted your puncture before you had to drive home.
Lovely room with en-suite and private balcony overlooking the sea. Lovely daily menu with a variety of meals to cater for all.
Many thanks for the wonderful feedback. Looking forward to the return visit. Many thanks.
Having been discharged from hospital on the 9/08/2023, I needed to convalesce and decided on the Royal Garden Hotel. It was a wonderful hotel. The staff were superb and very attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. Excellent food. Couldn't fault anything. Well done, Royal Garden Hotel.
Thank you very much for your review. It was our pleasure to look after you.
I've put from January 2023 as my mother in law went into The Royal Garden Hotel as respite for two weeks, the staff were absolutely marvellous in looking after her and making sure she had her medication on time, which led to a speedy recovery. Fortunately a 2 bedroom flat within the hotel became available and she moved in there after the two weeks. She really loves it and she gets the utmost care and respect. The staff are just amazing, nothing is too much trouble. She says the food is excellent with a very good balanced diet. We were able to move a lot of her things from her house to the flat to make her feel like it's her home. She has made friends within the home and is also now able to go out for a walk along the beach. Without a doubt she is very very happy there. Thank you to the director and all his team.
Many thanks for your kind words. Will pass on your thanks to all the team.
The Royal Garden Residential Hotel is situated in a lovely location, right opposite Marine Gardens and the sea. The rooms are a good size with en-suite facilities, and the view from the lounge on the 3rd floor is fantastic with a panoramic view of the sea. It is a family concern, and the care and kindness of the staff are very good.
We would greatly appreciate an opportunity to chat with you to explore our potential areas for improvement. Your insights would be invaluable as we work towards improving our service for our residents.
Royal Gardens is an excellent care home offering independence to its residents within a safe and supervised environment. It ably bridges the gap between independent living and a fully supervised arrangement. Having viewed many organisations it is the only place in the local area that I would have considered for my father.
We are very pleased to be looking after your father and that you continue to trust us to do so.
Many thanks.
We are very pleased with the service offered by the Royal Garden Hotel. The staff are very friendly, and they have got to know our father well. He likes to chat and joke with the staff, and they are always helpful. The simple but important things like haircuts and foot care seem to be easy to arrange. The managers are always helpful too in arranging transport to outside appointments. We feel sure that our father is getting the best care possible.
Many thanks.
My mother has been a resident for over three years. She is very comfortable living there. Her room is always clean and tidy. The room has a window low enough for her to sit and look out over the park and sea. The food seems to be of a good quality with lots of variety and choice. On the whole the staff are friendly and very helpful.
Thank you for your kind words. It's very much appreciated.
This is a family-run retirement home.
My parents are extremely happy here, feel at home and are well looked after.
Thanks, Julie, having known Mum and Dad for many years, first coming to us when we looked after their parents. It is our pleasure to look after them and make them welcome as part of our family.
All staff are friendly and extremely helpful.
The premises are always clean and tidy.
Individual care is given to residents making their stay very comfortable.
All rooms are clean and kept to a high standard, making residents feel at home and at ease.
Many thanks, Ann, for your kind words; your aunt is a pleasure to look after.
The care and attention they receive are unbelievable, and both they and we could not have made a better choice. It is truly a home from home with all the stresses of managing your life in later years removed. It also provides peace of mind for the family to know that they are safe and well cared for.
Thank you all at Royal Garden Hotel.
It means a great deal trusting us as you do to look after your parents.
