Visitors welcome to Sussex Grange and there is no need to book, however, it is often useful for the home to be aware of the time and day of a visit to enable them to help support those they care for. Quite often the residents like to ensure a visit does not impact any routine they have around meal times or communal activities they may be taking part in.
The home will continue to follow government Covid-19 guidance in relation to visiting for the safety of residents, team members and visitors.
Please park in the car park if possible. If not, then visitors free to park anywhere safely along the road, however, the home does ask that visitors take care not to obstruct any of the neighbouring driveways.

Kellie brings over two decades of extensive experience in various care settings. Starting as a care assistant, she progressed through lead, senior, and deputy roles to management positions. She fosters a culture of excellence, ensuring her team feels supported to deliver quality care. Warm and detail-oriented, Kellie quickly became cherished by residents, staff, and families at Sussex Grange. Her dedication and outstanding care have earned her recognition in the media for remarkable health advancements and unwavering perseverance throughout her career.
Kerry has a clear passion for providing the best support and guidance for our team, and the best care possible for our residents. She has a proven record of management qualities in care and works closely with Kellie to manage all aspects of the care home.
Sophie has worked in the care industry for 25 years supporting a varied group of care users; she firmly believes in delivering the care you would expect for yourself, or a loved one. As a Registered Manager, she achieved an ‘Outstanding’ CQC rating in 2015 and developed her career in supporting other services to ‘drive up quality’ on the road to outstanding.
During her career, she has achieved a variety of awards including ‘Best Outcomes for Improving Health’, ‘Team of the Year’, ‘Manager of the Year’, ‘Inclusive Communication’ and ‘Exceptional Health Outcomes’; In addition to this, she was finalist for the 17th National ‘Care Manager of the Year 2015’ and also recognised in the Guardian and Industry news for her work to drive and implement quality.
Sophie’s passion comes from supporting, encouraging and developing others and, in particular, she enjoyed her role working as a care consultant.
Sophie started working with Sussex Grange in 2018, She was appointed the role of Operations Director in January 2019 and conducts both strategic and operational planning to ensure service delivery and compliance.
Sussex Grange is privately owned by Drs Tom and Rachel Jameson. Tom previously worked as a hospital doctor for ten years giving him broad experience in the healthcare sector. Rachel works part-time as a local GP and has regular but informal input into the home.
In addition to his role at Sussex Grange, Tom is also a Director of West Sussex Partners in Care (WSPiC) and works with fellow Directors to enhance the services offered by WSPiC with particular emphasis on the annual Care Awards Ceremony and the twice yearly symposiums.
Jackie is our activities coordinator and plans and delivers our activity provisions within the Care Home.
She arranges activities with outside events coming in, such as singing, dancing, poetry, reading and quizzes.
In addition to this Jackie also delivers activities herself which are always special. Bingo is one of our most attended activities (as well as anything that involves cake)!
Jackie also takes around a mobile shop each week selling snacks and sundries.
Carol is devoted to overseeing recruitment at Sussex Grange, ensuring compliance and safety measures are met.
Her efforts guarantee that our entire team undergoes necessary safer recruitment checks, providing peace of mind for those we care for. With years of invaluable experience, Carol is a vital support to both our Care Home and Home Care teams
Sam's skills are finely honed in the overall management of our office, with particular expertise in overseeing accounts, finances, and technological systems at Sussex Grange. Her adeptness ensures smooth operations and effective utilisation of resources, contributing significantly to our organisation's success and efficiency.
