Visiting Hours
The home is open for visitors daily between 9:00am and 8:00pm. Tenby encourages visits during these times to allow residents to maintain a calm and consistent routine.
Protected Mealtimes
To support Tenby's residents' nutrition, dignity, and concentration during meals, the home observes protected mealtimes as follows:
Breakfast: 8:00am – 9:00am
Lunch: 12:30pm – 1:30pm
Supper: 5:00pm – 6:00pm
During these periods, Tenby kindly asks that visits are avoided unless previously arranged or if a visitor is supporting their loved one with eating. This quiet time allows residents to focus on their meals without interruption and helps staff provide essential support.
Booking a Visit
While not always required, Tenby recommends booking visits in advance during busier times to ensure privacy and availability of communal areas.
Health and Safety
Tenby asks that visits be postponed if visitors feel unwell or have been in contact with someone who is unwell. This helps Tenby protect the health of all residents.

Thank you for your lovely comments. All fees are calculated by using sophisticated dependency charts, and how much it costs to look after each individual in the home, to provide the highest quality of care as demonstrated in the feedback comments. Will pass on to the team.
Thank you for the lovely comments, not sure if you have spoken to the activities coordinator but there is a comprehensive range of activities in the home. The staff do try their best and take people out daily. Many residents go home to their families, or are taken out by their families were able to support the home in meeting this need.

Lara has been working within the field of residential care for over 30 years.Her career in care started as a young carer and her passion for elderly care and high standards led her directly into management. She has been a registered manager and has managed homes for older people and dementia but has also worked within the learning disability field.
She is a registered nurse has an NVQ 4 in care management qualification , Registered Managers award and has studied Health and Social care. Lara also has an A1 assessors qualification which enables her to assess and develop staff . Lara has vast experience in the dementia field and champions personal centered care. She has completed a degree module in People and dementia, Health assessment, Pharmacology aswell as physical assessment and is a dementia mapper, Lara is currently studying Advanced practice MSC at Brighton University and has completed her nurse Independent/Supplementary prescriber V300 qualification.
