All the staff are very caring and understanding even through stressful moments. The residents are kept well entertained and have many trips out. Tenby House has a very homely atmosphere and I am comforted to know my relative is in good hands.

I am always greeted at the door and directed to where my friend is. No sooner have I arrived at her side, a chair is provided for me to rest my weary legs! Her room is at the end of several long corridors and these are always spotless. The rooms with open doors are always tidy. The lounges are organised and spotless too. I cannot fault the staff. Their dedication to elderly together with their gentleness and compassion is humbling to watch. Not an easy task with many residents all with varying needs but this is always managed calmly and with unlimited patience. I am often visiting over lunchtime and the quality and presentation of food is very good and I witness residents eating with much enjoyment, especially my friend. Any questions or concerns I have had have always been answered without delay. At the end of my visits I can confidently walk away knowing my friend is in the best possible place to suit her needs.

My Father has been in Tenby House since December 2023. After a period of adjustment and settling in, he is now very settled and happy here. All staff that both he and us as a family encounter show compassion, care and a high level of dedication to their work and this is reflected in my father's contentment. My father particularly enjoys the activities and trips out, especially to the beach for ice cream, the pub for fish and chips or to a garden centre for coffee and cake. He looks forward to these outings and enjoys telling me all about them. I am kept well informed and if I need to raise any issues/concerns or suggestions then these are always listened to and addressed if needed.

My Dad was so sad after my mum passed away earlier this year. He missed her greatly. The staff were wonderful. So kind. He went into end-of-life care and sadly passed away last month. The staff kept me informed and looked after Dad so well right to the end.

Tenby House looked after my dad for nearly two years until he peacefully passed away. He was very happy there and I know the staff all loved having him around. It was a huge weight off my mind to know he was safe and well cared for in these difficult times. I would recommend the home as a reasonably priced efficiently run and caring place.

I would thoroughly recommend Tenby House. All the staff and management were lovely both to my dad and us. He enjoyed his stay and was well looked after, which gave us peace of mind. We would not hesitate to go back there when we need respite again. Thanks to all the staff for their kindness and expertise.

My father had excellent care during his time at Tenby and became very poorly and was on palliative care and then end of life care. He was well looked after by the team at Tenby, St Barnards and Echo nurses. The managers and staff listened to our requests and put everything in place to make Dad more comfortable and pain-free. As a family, we were supported and allowed to spend time with Dad.

Mum needed to go for respite care after being admitted to the hospital for three and a half weeks. Tenby House was very kind and caring to Mum when she was being very difficult. Whenever we phone for information, staff were always professional and friendly towards us.

This is my father's 3rd care home in the past 3 years and I can honestly say it's the first time since entering the care service that his needs and well being have and continue to be met which in turn offers me peace of mind and confidence dad is well looked after. Personal centred care has revived Dad's memory and he has far more good days now than bad. He can now recognise me when he sees me and always appears happy!

I cannot thank the management enough for their continued communication and ensuring I am up to date with all dad's needs and health concerns. The care staff are friendly and dad enjoys their company.

Needed to find a dementia home rather rapidly last September and were very pleased that you could assist with our needs. We haven't been disappointed with the overall care of my mother and she certainly seems happy, even though we had a hiccup over the Christmas period with my Mum, the home dealt with it well and we were not disappointed.

I wish to thank Tenby House and its staff for the wonderful, very caring care given to my Mother in the last 6 months of her life. As my sister and I live abroad, we were unable to visit but telephoned regularly and the staff were always polite and willing to give, in detail, updates or hold the telephone to Mum’s ear so we could talk to her. I know how pleased my father was leaving Mum in such a caring, kind home. Thanks again to the staff. We would certainly recommend Tenby House.
