I had absolutely no cause
The Owner/Manager is a hands-on manager who is personally active both in training his staff and in caring for his residents. He and his senior assistants successfully reduced my Morphine intake to zero over a few weeks after the op. (I had previously needed 120mg/day for pain control).

Arnas Mauremootoo, Registered Manager and director of MM2 Care Homes Ltd, transformed The Chestnuts from a struggling home in 2004 into a high-quality, well-regarded service. He and his wife run the business. Arnas lives locally and is on-site most days.
Stacey Else, Assistant Manager, has been with The Chestnuts since 2009, starting as a college placement student. She holds Level III Health & Social Care, Level II Team Leading, Level III Management, and Level V Management (2018), and is recognised for her responsibility and dedication to maintaining high care standards.
Cameron Mauremootoo, the newest management team member, holds a BSc in Business Management from the University of York and has completed Level V in Care Service Management. A local resident and son of Arnas, he has worked at The Chestnuts in various roles and shares his father’s commitment to quality care.
Shania, our Team Leader, began her journey with us at just 18 and has grown into a valued member of the management team. During her time with us, she has progressed hugely, completing her Level 3 in Health and Social Care and Level 4 in Leadership in Adult Social Care. Wearing her black tunic, Shania leads her team of seniors with warmth and dedication, ensuring continuity of care for our residents. She can often be found both on the floor supporting her team and in the office carrying out her management responsibilities.
