The staff know her well and sort out any worry she has. She has to do house duty, planning meals, cooking, cleaning and shopping.
She is very good with the other residents and helps them out if she can. My daughter needs the protection which the care home give her, she'd be lost without it.
Our daughter has lived at David's Close for 5 and a half years, during this time we have always had complete confidence in the ability of the manager and her staff. They consistently deliver an appropriate varied programme and manage my daughter's very complex needs with skill and professionalism. The staff are always courteous very motivated and appear to have appropriate training and understanding. Communication is very good, we are always made welcome and involved.
My daughter has been staying at David's Close for a number of years and is very well cared for by excellent staff who go out of their way to help her. She is happy there. She has a very nice bedroom with all the facilities she needs. She goes to a centre three times a week and goes out with her parents and carer once a week for a meal which she enjoys. I am grateful for the excellent care she receives and the time and effort the staff put in thanks top everyone.
My son has been here for several years and is very happy and settled. It has a family atmosphere at the home and my son enjoys the activities and interaction with the other residents and staff. My son has his own ensuite room with his own belongings which is a good size and kept clean.
I have recently been more involved with my sister's care due to our Mum having terminal cancer. I have found that my sister has a good level of care and support from all staff involved. All staff have been extremely helpful to my sister and myself during this difficult time. She has help and support from staff and family for any of her needs.
I like all the staff and I love living here. The staff are very supportive as I am going through a sad time.
