Our sister is a resident in this wonderful care home. As all her siblings live either abroad or 3-4 hrs away, we unfortunately cannot visit as often as we would like. However, a close family friend visits regularly and acts on our behalf (as proxy) to review meetings etc. We have always been extremely impressed by the genuine care, loving attention & the dignity afforded to our sister - she is comfortable and happy in Davids Close - we feel blessed that she is in such an excellent and well-managed home.

Our daughter is very vulnerable with complex needs. She has lived at the home for the past 14 years - when we have been delighted with her progress appropriate care, safety and stimulation throughout. She is treated with dignity, encouraged to make sensible choices and enjoys a varied lifestyle. The staff are highly trained and work closely with the G.P. and Consultants instructions. They are always welcoming and keep us informed regarding progress, incidents and events.

As always I cannot praise the staff enough. My friend requires a lot of care and her needs are always met. She is always well presented. Her nails are always trimmed and hair neat and today. She has special dietary requirements which are carried out and reassessed when needed. Despite her dementia she is included in the many activities and outings. She is treated with love and dignity and we are grateful she lives here.

Always a pleasure to visit. My neice is very well cared for and seems very happy. All the residents have one to one care to coinside with there interests and caperbilities. I am always made very welcome. A lovely home for all concerned

Excellent staff, very caring and friendly, the house has a lovely family feeling.

Whenever I go to see my daughter, she is always clean and nicely dressed. The staff always make her hair look pretty with slides, etc. She is always happy. Her room is lovely and tidy with all her personal things around her. The staff are always very welcoming whenever I visit or ring up. I cannot fault the way my daughter is looked after.

I can't say enough good things about Augusta Care! The staff are caring and patient, kind and supportive. The home really feels like a proper home, warm, friendly and safe. It has a lovely family atmosphere. Management and staff are always available to answer any questions, help and reassure the residents and families. There is a good focus on encouraging independence with support, for example with cooking skills, cleaning, laundry and shopping. I am very happy with the care and support my son receives here.

I like living here got some nice mates. Like the manager.

I have lived here for 30 years. The staff are wonderful, and nothing is too much trouble. I have had bad times in my life, but if I had not been at Augusta Close, I would not be alive. They all deserve a pay rise. The staff deserve a special surprise.

My daughter has been well cared for at Davids Close after being very ill this year, we both had wonderful support from management and all the staff. She is happy there and needs a lot of support with feeding and other things which the staff give her. I couldn't wish for better care. She has her own room with a hoist and everything she needs to help her also dolls and teddies. I'm happy that my daughter is very well cared for. And thank you to all the people at Davids Close who care for her. I can recommend Davids Close for everybody who needs it.

My brother had to go to hospital for a week and the staff kept me informed how he was. Someone visited him every day. They care for him very well.

My sister has been a resident at Augusta Close since 2009. She is very happy there and very well looked after by very caring staff. It feels like a family home and I am always made to feel very welcome when I visit.

My sister seems to have had a good year and been well supported. Her mental health seems to have stabilised during this last year. She is going out a lot more and this is obviously helping her. She seems happier and now has a great interest in gardening and also the pets. It's very nice to see her enjoying her life and being independent, thank you to all the staff.

The care that is given to my cousin and all those there is exemplary, nothing is too much trouble which is very gratifying.

Our whole family are impressed and so appreciative of the wonderful care our sister is receiving in this care home. The level of expertise from management and all the staff is commendable. In the 18 months since our darling sister moved in here, we have seen her physical health improve 100% all due to the levelling attention and stimulation from all the staff, her emotional and cognitive well-being has clearly improved enormously. We are so grateful that our sister has such a safe and loving forever home. The interactions and updates provided to all our family and close friends are open, clear and respectful. Thank you!
