Whenever I go to see my daughter, she is always clean and nicely dressed. The staff always make her hair look pretty with slides, etc. She is always happy. Her room is lovely and tidy with all her personal things around her. The staff are always very welcoming whenever I visit or ring up. I cannot fault
the way my daughter is looked after.

This is a wonderful place for all residents. Utmost care and consideration for everyone including any relatives and visitors. I would recommend it to anyone. My niece has been a resident for a number of years. I am always kept informed of any problems with health and anything else. The staff are exemplary.

Our daughter has lived at Davids Close for the last 13 years. During this time, she has appeared settled and happy, and we have been delighted with the care provision, safety aspects and varied programme. Our daughter is very vulnerable and suffers from complex needs. She is always treated with kindness,
understanding and dignity. The staff are trained appropriately and comply fully with the GP and consultants' directions. All staff are friendly, welcoming and keep us informed of any events or changes.

~My friend lives in this home, and I simply cannot express my gratitude to the amazing staff and management for the excellent care that they give. My friend requires logs of care and she is always well presented and treated with dignity.
Despite her disability, she is always included in all activities
and outings, of which there are many, the staff go above and beyond for birthdays and events, from decorations to cakes and buffets. I am so very thankful she resides here.

My daughter has been well cared for at Davids Close after being very ill this year, we both had wonderful support from management and all the staff. She is happy there and needs a lot of support with feeding and other things which the staff give her. I couldn't wish for better care. She has her own
room with a hoist and everything she needs to help her also dolls and teddies. I'm happy that my daughter is very well cared for. And thank you to all the people at Davids Close who care for her. I can recommend Davids Close for everybody who needs it.

My brother had to go to hospital for a week and the staff kept me informed how he was. Someone visited him every day. They care for him very well.

Our whole family are impressed and so appreciative of the wonderful care our sister is receiving in this care home. The level of expertise from management and all the staff is commendable. In the 18 months since our darling sister moved in here, we have seen her physical health improve 100% all due
to the levelling attention and stimulation from all the staff, her emotional and cognitive well-being has clearly improved enormously. We are so grateful that our sister has such a safe and loving forever home. The interactions and updates provided to all our family and close friends are open, clear and respectful. Thank you!

Me and my wife are very pleased with the way that our daughter is cared for the staff are wonderful. Management is very good, the staff takes our daughter for walks, swimming, and ten-pin bowling.
We are very happy with the care and support.

We have been very happy with the care received while my sister has been a resident at Alan Aitchison Care Home. Her room is always clean and warm in the winter. My son is at the home permanently due to covid-19. We get regular updates, including photos by email of how he is and the activities he is doing. He is also brought to the phone to chat. Overall, David's Close provides good service to its clients. There seems to be a lot of medication, which we would like to know more about. This is a downside of info from David's Close.
In general, the food and the staff meet all that is required of a good provider.

When necessary medication is prescribed to meet the needs of the individual resident and strict protocols are in place.

Very happy with standard of home and the staff. Home has a lovely family feel and is a safe environment. My son enjoys his time there and is always happy to return there after the weekend. He also enjoyed his holiday - thanks to the staff who took him.
