My uncle has complex needs and the staff are able to meet them professionally and with much care. My uncle has been at Davids Close for nearly 3 years and I have been able to relax in the knowledge that he is safe, well cared for, I know the staff go that extra mile for him. He is vulnerable and so
it is important that his family are 100% confident about his care and we are. My uncle spends a lot of time asleep so when I visit on a weekly basis, I have really got to know the staff and feel happy that he is in the correct environment.


The staff ensure he has the best quality of life he can, considering his complex needs. For example, visiting his old workplace to see his friends, going to day centres where he needs much support, but still going even if he is asleep in his wheelchair in case he wakes and can enjoy some of the visit.


A lot of thought goes into the lives of each resident, to ensure they enjoy life as much as they can and they are not just left around the house.

My sister has really enjoyed living at Alan Atchison Residential Services for the past seven years. I visit her each week and always find a very happy household. The staff provide excellent support to every individual's needs. I would have no hesitation recommending the establishment.

The staff and domestic at Davids Close are exceptional. They give excellent care and advice to my son. The residential home is modern clean and well run, outside activities are well run. This establishment is an example of all care homes.
