I have worked within the care sector since leaving school. I started as a carer and since gaining my NVQ level 5 have progressed into Management. I started at Broadacres in December and have taken our residents and staff to my heart. I care passionately about their rights and the quality of care they receive.

I have been working at Broadacres since 2015, I had become very disillusioned after working within a large group and it is so refreshing to work in an independent home where the staff are valued. I have recently become one of the Diabetes Leads in the home, my role is to train staff and residents and monitor diabetes within the home, supporting residents who suffer from diabetes.

27/02/2020 Charlie is still with the Broadacres team but only as a bank worker now as her and her partner are running a local car garage together, we wish Charlie all the luck in the world.

I started in 2023 on nights, we have a great team and work really well together. I am going to start my NVQ soon and train to become a senior.

I join Broadacres as a bank Chef to help cover holiday and sickness through the pandemic, as soon a permanent position came up I applied straight away. It's great to work in such a well supported home. I love that I can make person centered meal using fresh ingredients. I trained as a chef in 2012 and have kept up to date with my trainings.
