Pelsall Hall

from J H (Daughter of Resident) published on 12 June 2026

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
Pelsall Hall is a fantastic place. Residents are treated with dignity and respect by all staff who work together to make residents feel safe and cared for. Their sense of humour in meeting the individual needs - both physical and emotional - of the residents and their families is a wonderful aspect
and reflects the tone of the leadership to include everyone - all staff at all levels in the work they do. The range of activities for 'fun' times meant my mom had a positive and enjoyable time there and the support offered to her and her family at the end of her life was outstanding and genuine.

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
I have two residents, my mother and father-in-law, living at Lavender Fields for approx 2 years. No care home experience will be perfect (I have experience of others in Sevenoaks), but I feel the standard of care and support is excellent. Recently, the social activities have become even better with
regular parties, in addition to the fullsome program already in place. My father-in-law doesn’t have dementia, so is a reliable witness!
Reply from Lavender Fields, Management at Lavender FieldsDear Laura, thank you very much for your kind and considered words - they are truly appreciated. Mum moved into Bucklers Lodge in February 2025 and has been well cared for ever since. The Home has modern facilities and she has a lovely room with an outlook she loves.
The food is good, but most of all she appreciates the support of all of the staff that make her feel so much at home.
The recent
addition of a new GM is already yielding results.

Lavender Fields is a beautiful, bright and airy building surrounded by woodlands and gardens. It has improved significantly under the current management and the gardening club is a big hit with Dad. The staff are all respectful and caring. Administrative communication could still be improved, but things
are definitely going in the right direction. For the first time in over two years, Lavender Fields feels properly managed.
Reply from Yanique King, General Manager at Lavender FieldsThank you for your kind feedback. We are pleased to hear that your father is enjoying the gardening club and that you have noticed the positive improvements at Lavender Fields.

My mother went to Broadacres in August 2021 after a very traumatic stay in hospital during COVID and not being able to return to her beloved home. Everyone at Broadacres was incredibly kind and understanding: becoming like friends to both of us over the intervening years - sharing many funny moments

I and my family feel incredibly fortunate to have been offered a vacancy at Broadacres at the time when my Dad needed it. There is a very homely and sociable atmosphere there. The rooms are spacious and well arranged around the hub of the lounge and dining room. There are views of the beautiful gardens
and plenty of light pouring in. The staff are on duty 24/7. They could not be more caring and helpful and have always been present and available to talk or help with our needs when we visit. The staff are also proactive, getting him involved in activities he is enjoying and I do feel that my Dad is living his best life possible at this time.
Very happy, thank you!

Mum has been at the Home for two years plus her Care has been excellent. The staff have been amazing and the Care has been over and above and when we chose this Home we we didn't know what it was going to be like and it's been a lovely surprise because it's been amazing. The food is good. The care is
good and so glad we bought Mum here and can I please book my place for when I'm old enough or when I'm ready thank you.
Reply from Paulina Stock, Home Manager at BorovereThank you so much for your kind and heartfelt words. It truly means a great deal to us to hear how happy you and your mum have been during her time with us.
We understand that choosing a care home is a significant decision, often made with a great deal of uncertainty, so it is wonderful to know that your experience has been such a positive one. Our team works hard every day to provide the highest standards of care, comfort, and support, and your feedback is a lovely recognition of their dedication and compassion.
I will be sure to share your comments with all of our staff, who will be delighted to know that their efforts have made such a difference to your mum and your family.
As for booking your own place in the future, we'll certainly keep a space in mind for you! Thank you for putting a smile on our faces with that comment.

My mum recently broke her ankle after a fall. The carers were brilliant at making her comfortable before she went to hospital and did a fantastic job welcoming her back to the care home when she was discharged. They encouraged her to regain her independence and yet were supportive when she needed to
be helped.
Thank you and Well done Borovere staff.
Reply from Paulina Stock, Home Manager at Boroverehank you so much for your kind words and for taking the time to share your experience. We are sorry to hear about your mum's fall and broken ankle, but we're delighted that our team was able to provide comfort, support, and reassurance during such a challenging time.
It means a great deal to know that our carers helped your mum feel welcome on her return and encouraged her independence while being there whenever she needed assistance. Your feedback will be shared with the team, who will be thrilled to know their care and dedication made a positive difference.

My husband who has Alzheimer's attended the Day Care facility at Rose Cottage for about 3 years. He always enjoyed his time there as is very social. The staff were very friendly and helpful. He has only stopped going now as his health has deteriorated and he doesn't have the stamina. I would highly
recommend the Day Care facility.

I am happily living at Henley House. The staff are all very nice and kind to me. I feel safe and well looked after. I have a lovely room which is clean and fresh. I love looking at the horses from my room. The meals are very good, and I enjoy having drinks and biscuits on crackers throughout the day.
Reply from Donna Mills, Support Manager at Henley HouseThank you for your kind review about the staff at Henley and I am so pleased you are happy with the snacks and meals. Thank you Donna

My parents have been living together at Henley House for 4 years now. From the moment they moved in, I knew I had made the right decision for them. The staff and management are wonderful. They are kind, caring and respectful. The activities that are provided are amazing. The home is beautifully clean
and tidy, and the rooms are stunning. My sister and I visit most days between us, so we can see first hand how Henley House is run - it's like being with family on every visit.
Reply from Donna Mills, Support Manager at Henley HouseThank you very much for the review of Henley House. The staff are fantastic and care so much for the residents
