Food very good well cooked.

All staff are so genuine and really care about all the residents. This can be felt and is always very much appreciated.

All the staff have great patients all the time - whatever they are doing.

Wynei has cared for my mother over the 3 years she has been at Speirs House and has always been attentive to my mother's needs and polite to her making sure that mum is comfortable and has everything she needs. Wynei communicates to me any concerns that she feels I need to know about and so can deal with. Wynei is a real asset to the Care Team at Speirs House.

Speirs House is a lovely nursing home. The residents are all treated kindly and with respect and courtesy.

I live in Manchester and came down to visit my mother who has been admitted here recently. The staff are always professional and very helpful. The place is always clean and tidy and everyone always says hello. Every experience I have had to date has been a wonderful one. Thank you to all the hard working staff for their kindness.

Staff are amazing and always pop in to see mum. The treat her with dignity and respect. All are amazing and make everyone feel at home. Roslyn the activities coordinator does and amazing job getting everyone involved.

A fabulous, caring place the staff are exceptional and consistently go the extra mile. Just turned up with coffee and croissants for Sunday Brunch and someone just brought out a china tea set to make the morning special. My children love to come to visit and are made very welcome.

The manager, head nurse and entire team have pulled together as usual to support my mother and I through a critical time. It's such a relief to be able to work with, and put my faith in the wonderful group of people who look after my mum now she can no longer look after herself.

Betty is very happy and comfortable in the Speirs. She feels well looked after and safe. Staff always on hand. Betty would prefer more fruit and fresh vegetables.

They check on her regularly and make sure she is always comfortable.

My mother has settled at Speirs House better than we could have imagined. She was made to feel part of the Speirs family from the moment she arrived. This is such a relief to us. Also, we feel part of the family too and are welcomed warmly and valued and considers the staff her friends. We simply could not ask for more.

Noah has joined the staff as a daily cleaner for Speirs House. He is a breath of fresh air, always has a lovely smile when he greets you. He always checks if he can come in to clean Ray's room. Thank you.

I am writing to express our sincere gratitude for the excellent care our mother has been receiving at Speirs House Care Home over the past 17 months. We are incredibly pleased with the care and attention she has been provided.

The dedication and commitment of the staff and management to looking after the residents have not gone unnoticed. It is evident that they treat everyone with love and respect, which brings us great comfort and reassurance.

Simply put the care afforded to mum at Speirs House has been nothing short of outstanding in the year and a half that she has been here. I live abroad and so my worry always is/was is mum going to be sufficiently cared for. The answer is emphatically yes. Lead by the manager and her very able team. I am over the moon with the care. Keep going. Excellent staff.

My mum returned from hospital much less well, we prioritised getting her back to Speirs "her home" for final stages of her life with us and the staff who know her so well. Mum's care has been excellent, showing real empathy, care, respect and dignity.

My mum has been living at Speirs House for the last eighteen months. We moved her from another home which looked like a posh hotel but she was left in her room mostly with no interaction. The staff at Speirs House are like family mum is really well cared for, there are activities twice daily and there are lovely volunteers coming into the home. The home is a good size only about 30 rooms where there is lots of interaction with the other residents and there is always lots of carers, nurses and other staff always around. The food is great and the residents get involved to have a say in what they want and the kitchen staff are wonderful. The residents have regular meetings also there are regular relatives meetings. The manager Feruna always has time to talk and is very happy and bubbly. I highly praise the staff and I am extremely happy to have found this gem of a home. Thank you all the staff
