Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful review. I'm the new Home Manager here at Lavender Fields, and I truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. It's lovely to hear that your mother has been well cared for over the past five years and that our team has been both caring towards her and welcoming to your family. Feedback like yours means a great deal to us, as it reflects the dedication of our staff and the strong relationships we aim to build with residents and their loved ones.I'm also glad to hear that the recent matters with billing have been resolved to your satisfaction. Please know that we're always here to support you and ensure everything runs smoothly.Thank you again for your continued trust and support.
Dear L A,Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Your loved one was an important part of our community and we appreciate how hard this has been.We understand and share your frustration with the hospital discharge. While we aimed to act quickly, the process was disjointed. We're truly sorry for the added stress and have taken steps to prevent this happening again. We were saddened that, after reassessment, we could no longer safely welcome your relative back. As discussed with you, she now requires nursing care we're not registered to provide. Our 'Home for Life' is a financial assurance and applies when a resident's funding runs out. Please accept our apologies if this was ever unclear. We hear your concerns about staffing. We are pleased we now have a strong General Manager in post and continue to strengthen our team.Though this wasn't the ending any of us wanted, we hope that the earlier moments of care remain meaningful. Please let us know if you'd like to talk further.
Thank you for taking the time to post your review, and we are delighted that your experience has been so positive. Our dedicated staff team take pride in supporting our residents and their families with professionalism, warmth and above all a passion for care. Your feedback and appreciation really does matter to all of us.
We are sorry not to have met your expectations during your wife's recent stay. The feedback we receive in the main is very positive, however we value all feedback as it allows for continuous learning and improvement, so thank you. While we frequently engaged during your wife's stay, we would welcome the opportunity to meet again or discuss further how we might have improved your experience. Our aim is to provide the highest standards of care for all residents at Lavender Fields whether their stay is for respite, or it is becoming their new home. I recognise you do not feel we got everything right for your wife, however we are frequently commended for our welcoming environment, excellent facilities and the provision of stimulating and engaging activities in and around the home. Perhaps most importantly, recognition is received for the dedication and standard of care provided by our staff team. That your experience of this was not as expected is disappointing for all. Please contact us.

Thank you for your review. We are delighted that we were able to be the home that your mother needed and to live up to your expectations and her wishes for her care towards the end of her life.
Thank you for your review, we are sorry that aspects of the service we provide are not meeting your expectations. We are very actively recruiting for care staff and for the role of General Manager, and at all times we have had an experienced manager at an appropriately senior level overseeing the home. We were recently joined by our new Activities Coordinator, and offering our residents more opportunities to go out for trips is a top priority. Our Support Services Manager is working closely with the Activities and Catering teams, along with support from homes and head office staff, to develop these hugely important aspects of our service which have so much impact on residents' quality of life.
It was a pleasure to look after your parents for a respite stay and we look forward to them maybe returning for further respite visits.
Thank you so much for your kind words. We are so thrilled that we have been able to enhance Mum's wellbeing and we will continue to strive to improve her mobility, to ensure she can enjoy the whole experience of the home.
