Staff are always on the go and are hands on with the residents with a smile on their faces. They don't just perform caring duties, they make sure residents are happy by having a joke as friends making them feel right at home. They don't just care about the residents but for their families too, always making sure everyone is happy and looked after. You can truly see residents are cared for here. Both my Nan and Grandad are well looked after here and always surrounded by love and care. It is always a pleasant visit at Mount Ephraim house. Thank you to all the great carers- there are too many to shoutout!

Both my Nan and Grandad have been cared for by Mount Ephraim House. The carers are so loving and caring towards residents and go above and beyond to keep residents happy, comfortable and safe.

Had both my parents at this care home for several years and I can honestly say they are caring, compassionate and always happy to help. The staff all have become family! There are too many to mention but Alex, Lisa, Nanette, Laura, Denise, Marinella, Sabin and Shibin have all made a difficult time for us more bearable over the years. I can't thank them enough!

As it should be this is our father's home, and the staff try their best to make it so. There is a warm friendly atmosphere. His primary carer Denise has become a true friend who he trusts, likes. His dietry special needs are taken care of and meal times are mostly the highlight of his day. There is two way communication between us and the home. The regular reviews are a useful tool to check in on care needs and get Dads input on what could improve his wellbeing

My sister is very happy at Mount Ephraim House. The staff are always helpful and caring. Questions and advice about my sister are always answered promptly by senior staff. M.E.H is a beautiful building with lovely gardens for residents and relatives to enjoy. Many activities are available for residents to join in if they wish to do so. Relatives and friends are always welcomed into the home to visit and enjoy a meal.

Dad has alzimer, he has been at Mount Ephriam for 2 years. There have been some incidents that have caused dad to become stressed. When his grandson visited Dad was left waiting outside the lift he wanted to go down to breakfast, another incident was when Dad was refused his dinner because he was late, his grandson was visiting him. Dad gets bored due to the lack of appropriate activities. Overall the staff are kind + respectful.

My darling Mum Pauline passed away in July at Mount Ephraim House T/Wells. The carers, manager and all staff were amazing with Mum and myself knowing Mum was approaching death. Carers Denise, Lisa and Mariana were Angels, giving love and respect to Mum and myself. Things to improve on, more staff to enable carers to sit individually with residents, the days pass slowly, good to chat.

I just want to thank you for all you do. I offer my support to help the new leadership and wish them a good settling-in period and all the best to lead the team effectively.

When originally looking for a home for my father, we wanted a place that felt more like a home than a hospital, and that is what we found at Mount Ephraim House. The house is finished to a really high standard, the rooms are homely, and the staff are friendly, helpful and professional. However, most importantly, my father really likes the team and is genuinely happy to be there.

My experience with Mount Ephraim House has always been and, after three years remains 10/10.

I have a great relationship with all the staff who work so hard and are always very welcoming. The Carers and Seniors have always been and remain extremely caring towards my parents and show great compassion. They have been a great support to my parents and also to myself, especially through some difficult times. They really do feel like an extension of our family.

When friends and family have visited they have always commented on how welcoming MEH and the staff are and what a pleasure it is to visit.

I am so encouraged by the recent improvements at Lavender Fields. Having been through tricky times with management and staff issues, the new manager has steadied the ship and introduced many successful initiatives. The atmosphere amongst staff and residents is good, there are many more activities for residents and thoughtful ideas even for those who, like my mum, have limited capacity.

We visited friends of ours who are residents at the home and the staff couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. The facilities there are second to none and the atmosphere is very friendly and relaxed. Thanks to everyone.

My Mother has been a resident for a few years at Lavender Fields. Since the beginning of the year with the new mangement things started to improve. Now it is a happy, caring environment. Any issues are quickly addressed and rectified. We both feel supported and cared for.

My Dad has now moved in to be with Mum, they have next door rooms so, with the help of the carers, they get to spend time together. They enjoy taking part in the activities, which there is plenty of, the activities team work hard as do the rest of the staff. It is a relief to know that both Mum and Dad are being well cared for.

The lovely cafe near the entrance is an ideal spot to sit with Betty and catch up with her. We all enjoyed the coffee and biscuits.

The 3 weeks our parents spent at Mount Ephraim House was everything we hoped it would be. The staff were so friendly, welcoming, caring and understanding and gave us the respite we all needed. The surroundings and facilities are excellent, making for a calm, relaxed, homely feel whilst emanating excellence. Mum and Dad were well looked after and cared for, and we were always warmly welcomed when we visited and made to feel part of the 'family'. We would recommend and will be happy to book further stays if and when it is needed. Thank you.

I have two residents, my mother and father-in-law, living at Lavender Fields for approx 2 years. No care home experience will be perfect (I have experience of others in Sevenoaks), but I feel the standard of care and support is excellent. Recently, the social activities have become even better with regular parties, in addition to the fullsome program already in place. My father-in-law doesn’t have dementia, so is a reliable witness!

Lavender Fields is a beautiful, bright and airy building surrounded by woodlands and gardens. It has improved significantly under the current management and the gardening club is a big hit with Dad. The staff are all respectful and caring. Administrative communication could still be improved, but things are definitely going in the right direction. For the first time in over two years, Lavender Fields feels properly managed.
