My wife joined Borovere from another care home on 18th June. On arrival we were given a warm welcome by management and staff, since then my wife has been cared for by the staff with excellent care and kindness.

I visit once a week with my therapy dog. I love going and she does too. The staff are amazing and give me a free rein now to go to the rooms of the residents that I know would like to see Willow. I hear that the food is fantastic and when coffee/tea comes round in the morning the biscuits look lovely (homemade) All the residents I talk to are happy to be there and Andy the Activities organiser is wonderful with them. He makes them laugh.

I think maybe the only thing I would mention is the outdoor space, if more could be made of that it would be the absolute perfect place.

Borovere Care Home has provided exceptional support for my mum since she arrived in May. The staff's kindness in helping her settle in has been outstanding, especially given her challenges with dementia. Paulina's amazing energy, Hayley's unbelievable kindness, and Michelle's straightforward approach have been invaluable in making her feel at home. Although the transition was not easy, the staff's dedication to maintaining her dignity has been remarkable. The entertainment, featuring 60s pop music, is delightful and engages the residents meaningfully. The social media updates keep me connected, and the team's reassurance has made this difficult decision much easier for our family. Highly recommended

Mom moved into Borovere in November 25 and from the initial super warm welcome to now the staff have been absolutely fabulous. Mom was previously in another care home in another part of the country so have a direct comparison and cannot praise Borovere highly enough. She settled in very quickly, she has put weight on and really enjoys her food. She is on a puréed diet and the effort to keep the meal elements looking different to tempt her appetite is very welcome. They even made her a birthday cake this week with strawberries and cream and puréed her piece so she could enjoy it and made her feel very special. A special mention should be made about Andy and the activities team as there is something happening every day and this makes such a difference. Very happy with the choice to move Mom to Borovere and cannot fault her care.

I visited from 12:00 to 16:00. There good activities which many residents enjoyed. I had a good lunch with my mother. There was good care: friendly chat, help with moving around, medication, and so on. There was a kind, supportive atmosphere. I was made to feel welcome. A visiting dog was also a pleasure- I'm glad they are allowed.

Sadly, my mum recently passed away in Borovere Care Home. She had been poorly for a while. The care she received at her end of life was second to none. All the staff were respectful of her needs and she was treated with dignity, care and consideration.
They were also mindful of family needs and feelings, welcoming and updating us on each occasion we visited
I can't thank the staff enough for being there for my mum and supporting me in the last weeks of mum''s life. They made a difficult time bearable.

Well done Borovere staff.

Mum has been at the Home for two years plus her Care has been excellent. The staff have been amazing and the Care has been over and above and when we chose this Home we we didn't know what it was going to be like and it's been a lovely surprise because it's been amazing. The food is good. The care is good and so glad we bought Mum here and can I please book my place for when I'm old enough or when I'm ready thank you.

Mum has been in Borovere care home for 4 years and 8 months and I can honestly say that during that time, all of the staff are lovely and treat and support Mum very well. She often comments to me that she is happy in the care home and everyone is so nice to her so I shouldn't worry about her. There are staff who are responsible for providing a program of activities for the residents, which they do with enthusiasm. Mum is encouraged to join in with the activities, or when she prefers, she can stay in her room. There is no pressure either way. The grounds and building are maintained very well. During the time that Mum has been there, there has been a program of improvements which include replacing the carpet in the main lounge to installing fencing around the grass area to make it secure for the residents, as well as many other improvements. Mum has had two operations while being a resident in the home and both times the care home have done all they can to care for her on her return.

The staff have always looked after my aunt well and treat her and other patients as individuals. There is a wide range of activities and a good ratio if staff to residents. Management staff are responsive and everyone comes across as caring and genuinely interested in their work. From my observation staff really try to give residents the best possible quality of life.

My Mum has just completed a 3 week respite stay at Borovere following a hospital admission. At her initial assessment in the hospital and throughout her stay she received excellent care with a professional, friendly, personalised and empathetic approach. The willingness of the staff to be flexible when managing her preferences and needs in order to make her feel welcome and "at home" was second to none. She has coeliac disease and her gluten-free diet was readily accommodated The activities programme was varied and well-delivered.
The atmosphere in the care home is lovely- really homely and happy.
Communication with management and care staff was easy and all queries received a prompt and efficient response.

We have already booked a future respite stay and I would have no hesitation in recommending Borovere to others needing either respite or a permanent placement.
