Mum has been at The Willows for just over a year and I can honestly say that I can't think of a better place for her to be, she is cared for by a team of highly dedicated carers and a management team who run the home with their hearts in making it home from home for the residents. There was always concern about where mum would settle when I could no longer cope with looking after her in her own home but mum settled straight away. It was such a relief. I have not regretted my choice of home for her.

My mother has been at the Willows care home for about 18 months, she seems very happy and is well looked after, the staff are excellent and very attentive.
The Willow's was recommended by someone who used to work there and we were impressed when we visited.

Back in March my mother celebrated her 90th birthday, the willows staff put on a Cornish themed party.

I want to express my deepest gratitude to everyone at Willows Care Home for the truly compassionate, loving care you gave my mum over the last 18 months of her life. From the moment she moved in, it was clear that this was more than a care home - it was a place where dignity, respect, and genuine kindness are at the heart of everything you do.
Every member of staff treated her with warmth and patience, always taking time to listen, smile, and make her feel safe and valued. Your support not only enriched her life but also gave our whole family peace of mind and comfort during what could have been a very difficult time. The attention to detail, thoughtful activities, beautiful surroundings, and respectful care truly made her feel at home.

Thank you for going above and beyond, for the little acts of kindness that mattered so much, and for creating such a nurturing environment. We will always be grateful for the love and professionalism you showed her every day

Choosing a care home can be a daunting task and we were very fortunate to find The Willows close to home. We did look at a few homes and some looked like the bees knees like an upmarket hotel. However, what they lacked was what The Willows had in abundance, lovely caring staff and a lovely homely atmosphere. My mother-in-law was with them for about 18 months and I believe she was genuinely happy and content in her time there. Looking after people with dementia is no mean feat and I have nothing but total admiration for Teresa and her team. You could pop in anytime and you would find the same thing, dedicated staff giving their all, caring for the residents, organising activities etc. For the last few months she was bed-bound and the constant love and care she was shown during that time was simply exceptional and we will always be really grateful- I can't recommend them enough .

I really enjoy living at The Willows. The staff are excellent and most helpful, and enjoy a joke! The food is excellent too - with all the right ingredients and plenty of it. I couldn't be more contented. Many thanks!

I viewed many care homes, but on finding the Willows I realised instantly that it would be perfect to fit the needs of my stepmum. The occupancy is small being only 24, making it very personal to each resident. The warmth from all the staff was clear to see. Nothing is ever too much when help is required. Activities take place every day, residents are encouraged to join in which they happily do. Birthdays and special occasions are also celebrated.

The Willows Residential Home offers a friendly, welcoming and safe home for residents. Moving into a care home is an incredibly difficult life change for anyone and The Willows staff tries and make the transition period as smooth as possible for residents, encouraging a home-from-home environment where individuality and independence are encouraged and celebrated.

The staff at The Willows are what makes the home as they are so friendly, approachable and incredibly genuinely caring people. My mum often comments that she feels lucky to have such lovely staff around her which makes her feel safe and cared for. A range of age-appropriate activities are offered such as chairobics, flower arranging and arts and crafts should residents choose to participate. The home itself is very welcoming and the garden is kept beautifully. We can't recommend The Willows highly enough for anyone looking for a cosy, welcoming, friendly and safe environment for their loved one.

My mother has been at the Willows for 3 years and has received excellent care throughout her time there. It's been challenging as her dementia is advanced, but she has settled nicely and relates well to the genuinely kind and caring staff.

She has a comfortable room with views of the gardens. The food is good, she eats well and has maintained a good weight despite her illness. She is also kept stimulated by the activities provided. Relatives are welcome to join in regularly with special social events.

Mum has been at The Willows for three years and she has had her care needs looked after in such a professional and caring way. As she has dementia the transition was confusing for her at first but she has settled in so well that she is happier and more content than when she was living at home. The atmosphere is always friendly and welcoming. The staff are so helpful and patient and the home and gardens are kept immaculately. It's highly recommended.

Staff work hard to ensure that my grandmother's individual needs are met with a personalised approach. They are approachable and responsive and encourage her to participate in the activities offered. They ensure safe, high-quality care is provided and communicate with me as the family member. We recently enjoyed the summer BBQ! Thanks all.
