Endeavour Residential Home

The management and staff are always polite, friendly, helpful and supportive. The residents are treated with the utmost respect and dignity and understanding in relation to my husband's needs.

My mother was admitted with dementia in November 2021. Her health deteriorated due to the disease and she sadly passed away in April 2022. Throughout this period the care she received from the team at the home was excellent, particularly during her final days. The care and sympathy shown to her family and husband at the end was also excellent.

Mum is happy with her stay and care.

Mum is very well looked after, always clean and well cared for. Food always looks delicious. Carers are friendly. Overall, we are very happy to have Mum at Endeavour.

I was able to visit my mother this week for the first time since she entered Endeavour. Whilst covid restricts and ruins the intimacy of a family meeting I could see how well my mum looked and has clearly been treated. I cannot comment on all ratings as I couldn't enter Endeavour.

My mum went into respite care in September 2021. After returning home she was unable to care for herself properly. So my sister and I decided to see if she could return as a full-time resident. The hardest thing for us as daughters is visiting in the pod but 100% agree that this is necessary to keep our mum, staff, and other residents free of covid. Can't wait to give my mum a hug.

Every resident is treated with utmost respect and understanding in relation to individual needs. Also with kindness and a very human sense of humour.

I can only base my review on my experience during Covid regulations, however, my mother appears to be well cared for and she has settled in and is happy. The staff are pleasant, they follow Covid precautions, and the visitor's pod is clean. I am happy with the care my mother received.

The home seems an ideal size, large enough for good facilities, small enough for personal attention. The management and staff are very professional but also, very caring. The atmosphere is always friendly and the premises are always clean and tidy. This home may not have the "bling" but it does have an abundance of the things that really matter.

Each visit we have visited my stepsister we are impressed by the cleanliness of all the residents. All the staff are kind and caring and the residents are treated with dignity and respect. My stepsister praises the quality and variety of food. After a few personal problems settled in well, made new friends and is happy.

I personally could not recommend Endeavour more for their care. Thanks to all involved.

My one suggestion is that tea could be varied - maybe soup.

My mother in law has been made to feel welcome and at home since the day she arrived. Every member of staff treats her as if she is really special to them. Their kindness and empathy go way beyond just doing a job. She is able to choose how she would like to spend her day and is supported in all that she does. They understand all her little ways and are able to comfort and reassure her if she has a difficult day.

Any health issues have been dealt with really promptly and effectively. The way that she is looked after means that our minds are at ease, knowing that she is in a place where people really care about her.

Overall Endeavour is first class.

I have continued to visit on a weekly basis and always found staff and residents to be happy and welcoming. If I have questions, I've felt they were answered honestly. I believe the home is working with families where possible in the best interests of all residents. I think 20 is an ideal number and that a staff ratio is maintained.

The staff are all very nice and they do a good job.
