The kitchen team prepare and serve a varied menu of tasty, nutritious food and a 24-hour menu is available. All dietary requirements are catered for.
There are a number of handheld computers (tablets) available for residents to use (with assistance from staff if required) to play games, look at internet sites of interest, keep in touch with relatives/friends etc. There is also a wall-mounted interactive screen for residents and staff to use together, and a portable interactive table which can be enjoyed by residents in their own rooms.
Fourways provides activities providing a varied programme of activities to suit all needs and interests, the activities run throughout the day and all are welcome to join in.
The residents enjoy trips out in the community in a wheelchair accessible vehicle; outside interests and activities are encouraged. Relatives and friends are encouraged to join in with the activities too.
Fourways provides an annual summer party in the beautiful award-winning gardens which is also attended by relatives and friends and people from Fourways Community Care.
An annual Christmas party is held at a local church hall every December, all are welcome including resident's family and friends, once again it is a joint occasion with Fourways Community Care Clients and staff also attending.

My elderly mother has lived at Fourways for 4 years now and I cannot fault the care she has received during that time. The staff team are kind, caring and skilled, always willing to help. They have been able to meet mum's changing needs over this time, involving us in her care when needed and supporting her both emotionally and practically. As a health professional myself, I am aware of what to look out for and have always been fully confident in the care mum receives. The home has been well led for many years and has high levels of staff retention, with the new owners being well accepted by the staff team. The staff work well together and always strive to make the environment pleasant and ensure every individual is valued and given the support they need. Amazing place.

Mum is 92 has chronic heart failure , so her needs are very challenging but the staff , seem to take it all in there stride ..I visit in & out every day because I am working but i am made to feel very welcome & not a nuisance . I am able to ask about mums day ( since she doesn't remember) ..& ask about her medication & how the nursing staff / managers ask how they feel mum is doing . I feel so lucky that mum is @ Fourways for her end of life care .

We were really happy with the care given to Dad while he was in Fourways. He always felt safe and looked after, during times when he was well or going through an illness. We would highly recommend Fourways to anyone considering it for themselves or a family member.

I consider myself extremely lucky to have secured my father-in-law a place at Fourways Residential Home. The staff are friendly, caring, kind and hard-working and nothing is too much trouble. Since arriving at Fourways he is a changed man. He arrived weighing less than six stone and had given up the will to live. Within a few weeks he has gained weight, thanks to delicious food, enjoys a variety of activities and excursions and has made good friends. Brilliant.
