After visiting Magnolia House in May to see my mother, I was very impressed. The staff are amazing, very kind and helpful with all the residents. There are plenty of activities to do with residents, with many laughs. Home-cooked meals and lovely morning and afternoon teas. I am happy to know my mum is safe and cared for with love and respect. Big thank you to the staff at Magnolia House Axminister.
Thank you very much for your kind review. We are delighted to hear that your visit to Magnolia House was such a positive experience. It means a great deal to know that your mother feels safe, cared for, respected and that you were impressed by the kindness of our team, the activities on offer and the meals. Thank you again for taking the time to share your experience.
Although Magnolia House is an old building, it feels like a proper 'home' for my mother. It has an open, welcoming atmosphere to visitors who are made to feel part of the 'family'. Every effort is made to cater to my mother's needs, and the staff do their utmost to accommodate her wishes. We have been encouraged to make her room as near to her own home as possible, which makes all of us more comfortable.
It is reassuring to know that your mother's individual needs and wishes are...
Management and staff have been very supportive not only to the service but the whole family as well. This is greatly appreciated. If we have any problems the Care Home Manager is always there to help get things sorted for you.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience. We understand how difficult it can be when a loved one needs to move into care, especially when the original wish was to remain at home. It's a big decision for any family and we truly appreciate the trust you've placed in us.

I to would be complimentary with day to day issues and help from friendly staff.
I have found the manager to go above and beyond, on many occasions for any requests we have made. I would say it is a very demanding roll working here, and thank all members of staff for their continued help and support.
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We are delighted to hear that your parent has expressed positive sentiments regarding both our staff and the manager. It is equally encouraging to know that you find our team to be helpful, friendly, and supportive, and that the manager consistently goes...
The staff when we visit are all very polite and obliging nothing seems to be too much trouble. Always offered à drink and most times a homemade cake. Différent activités seem to be going on. Everywhere is clean and tidy and very warm.Home from home I would say.. Magnolia House highly reccommended.
We are very pleased to hear that your sister-in-law is happy and feels well cared for. It is reassuring to know that our staff are consistently polite, helpful, and welcoming, and that you are offered refreshments during your visits. I would like to pay a huge compliment to Magnolia House staff for all their kindness towards my mum when she moved in Mum was anxious and nervous she always wanted to be out and about with myself and my brother, however today she rang me to cancel our trip out tomorrow as she has decided to go out with her friends in Magnolia, I never thought I would see this day but here it is so again I'd like to say a huge thank you to the manager and all the staff for making my mum so welcome and happy you are a great bunch.
It is nice to see the improvements that are slowly being implemented new chairs etc and make for a more pleasant environment for residents and us visitors alike.
My mum came here in August since she has been here, she has been treated with dignity and the utmost respect. When visiting, the care staff are well presented, cheerful, always willing to help if necessary when dealing with mum. The home is very clean, homely and well cared for. The food is very good and well presented.
