My mother joined Netherhayes Care Home in Seaton, Devon, after a short stay in hospital. Sadly, she passed away in May 2026. My mother wasn't the most social person. The wonderful carers always made sure she joined in all the fun. She enjoyed the various entertainment and would join in with singing the words and jigging with her zimmer frame. Mum enjoyed all the entertainment that was organised. I would like to thank the lovely manager and her wonderful team of carers who always go above and beyond their duties of care and support to all the residents.

I have visited Netherhayes to see my friend Kate on several occasions over the past few months. She is very happy and well looked after by excellent staff who are very caring, make my experience when visiting very enjoyable.

We find the mobile app very informative and reassuring, it is an easy way to keep up with what is happening on the days we are unable to visit.

After visiting Magnolia House in May to see my mother, I was very impressed. The staff are amazing, very kind and helpful with all the residents. There are plenty of activities to do with residents, with many laughs. Home-cooked meals and lovely morning and afternoon teas. I am happy to know my mum is safe and cared for with love and respect. For the last 8 months our mum has been a resident at Netherhayes Care Home in Seaton, Devon. We cannot thank the staff enough for the exceptional care, compassion, and kindness mum receives at Netherhayes. Every member of staff treats Mum with dignity, warmth, and genuine affection, ensuring that she feels safe, comfortable, and valued. The care the team provides is consistently of the highest standard, and it is always clear that the team truly care about mums wellbeing and happiness.The kindness shown to our dad, who visits Mum every day, is equally remarkable. The staff always welcome Dad warmly and provide him with friendship, support, and reassurance during what can often be difficult times. Their compassion extends beyond Mum and Dad to our entire family, and we always feel included, informed, and supported. This is honestly the nicest care home ever! The staff are just amazing and all without exception are happy and smiley. The place is immaculate with absolutely no smell - the food looks excellent too. The care and compassion we've not only seen and experienced is phenomenal. The staff and manager should be congratulated on providing such an outstanding service to those at a very vulnerable time of their lives.

Although Magnolia House is an old building, it feels like a proper 'home' for my mother. It has an open, welcoming atmosphere to visitors who are made to feel part of the 'family'. Every effort is made to cater to my mother's needs, and the staff do their utmost to accommodate her wishes. We have been encouraged to make her room as near to her own home as possible, which makes all of us more comfortable.

All the staff at Adelaide House are kind and very professional. Mum is well looked after and particularly enjoys the frequent musical entertainment.

Over all the care for my mother has been really good with all the staff I've met being very friendly and professional.although my mother doesn't have dementia it was reassuring to see other residents being treated patients and dignity.

Overall I find the home clean and very welcoming. Mum is happy here and enjoys the activities that are provided. She joins in when a singer or exercise people are in.

Management and staff have been very supportive not only to the service but the whole family as well. This is greatly appreciated. If we have any problems the Care Home Manager is always there to help get things sorted for you.

Staff very engaging, home looked clean and tidy. Resident I visited looked well presented and told me about the activities been doing, walls have photos and drawings on of these. I felt my friend was happy and being well looked after.

I have found the manager to go above and beyond, on many occasions for any requests we have made. I would say it is a very demanding roll working here, and thank all members of staff for their continued help and support.

The staff when we visit are all very polite and obliging nothing seems to be too much trouble. Always offered à drink and most times a homemade cake. Différent activités seem to be going on. Everywhere is clean and tidy and very warm.Home from home I would say.. Magnolia House highly reccommended.

Since Owen joined the home we have been so happy with the care and dedication the staff display each and every day on our visits- my mum visits every day! Lovely home, lovely atmosphere and we are always kept up to date with any changes etc.

Very warm. Whenever I visit, the staff are always very welcoming. They try to get residents and visitors to join in all the very good activities which are put on very regularly. Mum seems very happy at Sunnydale.

My mum (95 years), has now been in the home for the last 15 months. She absolutely loves it. The staff are exceptional and we have absolute peace of mind knowing that she is very well taken care of. There are activities every day which both stimulate her physically and mentally. She has a better social schedule than we do. I don't know of any other home that had visits from miniature alpacas or birds of prey. Our eternal thanks for taking such good care of her.

Dad has only been here a few weeks. He has settled in well. He is being well cared for, enjoying the food! Staff are very friendly/supportive and helpful. Overall I think this was the best place for dad. He is happy.
