Mum has been a resident at Adelaide Lodge for almost three months now, and the positive change in her energy, mood and general happiness has been extraordinary. Without exception the management and staff have been kind, caring and totally supportive, and Mum is enjoying the various activities and new social connections. Her accommodation is very comfortable and Adelaide Lodge have encouraged us to add personal items to make her environment more homely. Some of the facilities, while adequate, are in the process of phased renewal but in the meantime are perfectly satisfactory. This is a professionally run Care Home with the interests of residents clearly front and center in all they do. We are very pleased with this choice of Care Home for Mum and look forward to her enjoying many years of well deserved retirement at Adelaide Lodge.

My Mum has been in the care home for a couple of years now, and has been well looked after, and her health has improved a lot. All the staff are friendly and very helpful and I am very happy the way they look after my Mum. I have no worries over her safety and wellbeing.

It is always lovely to visit my Dad in Sunningdale. He is very well cared for and always looks comfortable in his clothes as the staff know he does not cope with being hot. My Dad loves a book and it's wonderful to see he has one at all times. All the staff are absolutely wonderful and very caring. They know my Dad very well and I can tell he is very happy and content.

my aunty came in for respite + has made amazing progress. Everyone has been wonderful to her. Loves the company + the food.

My mother joined Netherhayes Care Home in Seaton, Devon, after a short stay in hospital. Sadly, she passed away in May 2026. My mother wasn't the most social person. The wonderful carers always made sure she joined in all the fun. She enjoyed the various entertainment and would join in with singing the words and jigging with her zimmer frame. Mum enjoyed all the entertainment that was organised. I would like to thank the lovely manager and her wonderful team of carers who always go above and beyond their duties of care and support to all the residents.

I have visited Netherhayes to see my friend Kate on several occasions over the past few months. She is very happy and well looked after by excellent staff who are very caring, make my experience when visiting very enjoyable.

We find the mobile app very informative and reassuring, it is an easy way to keep up with what is happening on the days we are unable to visit.

After visiting Magnolia House in May to see my mother, I was very impressed. The staff are amazing, very kind and helpful with all the residents. There are plenty of activities to do with residents, with many laughs. Home-cooked meals and lovely morning and afternoon teas. I am happy to know my mum is safe and cared for with love and respect. We cannot thank the staff enough for the exceptional care, compassion, and kindness mum receives at Netherhayes. Every member of staff treats Mum with dignity, warmth, and genuine affection, ensuring that she feels safe, comfortable, and valued. The care the team provides is consistently of the highest standard, and it is always clear that the team truly care about mums wellbeing and happiness.The kindness shown to our dad, who visits Mum every day, is equally remarkable. The staff always welcome Dad warmly and provide him with friendship, support, and reassurance during what can often be difficult times. Their compassion extends beyond Mum and Dad to our entire family, and we always feel included, informed, and supported. This is honestly the nicest care home ever! The staff are just amazing and all without exception are happy and smiley. The place is immaculate with absolutely no smell - the food looks excellent too. The care and compassion we've not only seen and experienced is phenomenal. The staff and manager should be congratulated on providing such an outstanding service to those at a very vulnerable time of their lives.

Although Magnolia House is an old building, it feels like a proper 'home' for my mother. It has an open, welcoming atmosphere to visitors who are made to feel part of the 'family'. Every effort is made to cater to my mother's needs, and the staff do their utmost to accommodate her wishes. We have been encouraged to make her room as near to her own home as possible, which makes all of us more comfortable.

All the staff at Adelaide House are kind and very professional. Mum is well looked after and particularly enjoys the frequent musical entertainment.

Over all the care for my mother has been really good with all the staff I've met being very friendly and professional.although my mother doesn't have dementia it was reassuring to see other residents being treated patients and dignity.

Overall I find the home clean and very welcoming. Mum is happy here and enjoys the activities that are provided. She joins in when a singer or exercise people are in.

Management and staff have been very supportive not only to the service but the whole family as well. This is greatly appreciated. If we have any problems the Care Home Manager is always there to help get things sorted for you.

I have found the manager to go above and beyond, on many occasions for any requests we have made. I would say it is a very demanding roll working here, and thank all members of staff for their continued help and support.
