Dove Lodge Care Home is an aesthetically linked pair of villas located in the seaside town of Exmouth, featuring a spacious garden and plenty of parking space.

Each room is equipped with private en-suite facilities, telephone and television points, and an advanced 24-hour staff call system. Dove Lodge has CCTV installed in all communal areas, including dining room, communal lounges, hallways, exterior of the building and gardens. This is for the safety of the residents and staff.

Drawing on three decades of expertise, the Dove Lodge team delivers professional, personalised elderly care services with individualised Care Plans. The home welcomes residents for various durations, including extended stays, brief periods, recovery and respite.

My mum has been in Dove Lodge for 12 years now and has a lovely room, she enjoys the food, nothing is a problem. They have activities most days and sometimes go out as a group. She feels safe and at home there.

An outstanding care home in every respect. The warmth and care of the staff is superb. Nothing is too much trouble. Mum felt at home immediately. She has not been as happy and content for some time. The intellectual stimulus she receives is excellent. Thank you.

My grandmother became a Dove Lodge resident this year, and as a family, we were really apprehensive, but after just a few days, it was clear we needn't have had any such thoughts. Straight away, we were confident that my grandmother would settle in, be happy, but most of all be safe and well looked
after. It's clear the staff are well trained and care about what they do. We feel very grateful to have found such a lovely environment that my grandmother loves. Thank you.

From the moment we walked through the door to the warmest of welcomes, we just knew that we had found my mother's new home. I cannot praise highly enough the love and care that my mother receives here at Dove Lodge. Nothing is ever too much trouble. She loves everything about it. The friendly atmosphere
has encouraged her to make new friends and she looks forward to every day. At 94 years of age, she has now got a new lease of life. Thank you to all.

My dad stayed here after coming out of hospital. His room was lovely, bright and airy and the staff were wonderful, so friendly and caring. It has such a lovely homely atmosphere. He was worried about going into a home but the staff made him feel so welcome.

My grandma's overall experience so far has been very positive from her first day here. We have found the staff to be friendly, welcoming and supportive, which has greatly helped her to settle into the new environment. The team always puts a great effort into make her feel respected and valued and she
is always treated with dignity ensuring that she feels comfortable, safe and at home. The facility itself is kept clean and well maintained with an inviting atmosphere. There are plenty of activities available to keep the resident engaged. Overall the care and compassion shown is remarkable as everyone goes above and beyond to make sure individual needs are met, giving our family such peace of mind knowing our loved one is in excellent care.

Mum has been very well cared for. The staff are so caring and treat residents as though they were members of their own family. Laundry, food and cleaning also to an excellent standard. Activities and socials organised regularly. Would definitely recommend.

The staff were very caring and so kind to the resident and were considerate and committed to their needs. Also, the staff were very kind and helpful when dealing with myself both in person and on the phone.
The home was a very friendly place to live for the residents, and I really appreciated all the
care that they received.
It was a lovely, well-managed home with wonderful staff.

My Mother has been a resident at Summerleaze for 11 years. During that time the home has adapted to and more than accommodated her changing needs, which are many. It was her birthday when I visited and although I hadn't reminded anyone they all knew and had given her a 'special' day which she evidently
loved, in her limited capacity. I live some distance away and couldn't be more assured that she is well looked after. It is an extremely well-managed and personal establishment.

Dad came to Summerleaze for respite initially and they have made what could have been a very distressing situation extremely easy and immediately put our minds and ease knowing that our Dad is being well looked after. This is a wonderful home with a 'home from home' settling. With warm, attentive, and
caring staff. Lots of opportunities to socialise and do activities as well as relaxing spaces. Dad's room is lovely, spacious and well-equipped. But would benefit from an extra chair for me!

Mum has been with you for 18 months and we can honestly say what a difference there is in her. If she wasn't here I think it would be a different story. Your team are always so helpful and caring, nothing is too much trouble for my Mum's needs. Every day she is up dressed and socialising with residents
and staff. This is having an amazing management and team here and their perseverance with Mum. We also think having a great manager who has been here for years knows the families and what her residents' needs are, which is a great asset here. The team are always available and approachable too. We love the fact we are always welcome anytime. Recently Mum has been asking to move rooms nearer the lounge as she liked it there and as promised when a room became available she was given the opportunity to have it. After then a dilemma on Mum's behalf the team made sure she was 100% to move into it as to them her happiness was important. We would 100% recommend coming here as we have peace of mind Mum is always cared for.
