I cannot praise this home highly enough. The care that my mum receives is exceptional. The staff are wonderful and I have never heard an unkind word said - to anyone. The home is kept really clean and it feels like a 'hotel by the sea'. My mum eats and socialises happily with other residents - something I never thought that I would see. Her mobility is extremely limited and she requires intimate care. All met so well.

My mom was at Roundham Court for just over 2 years and I cannot begin to express my thanks to all of the staff at the home for the care that they showed to mom throughout her stay. The home is very well managed by Becky and her wonderful team, they all provide the highest quality care. I visited the home regularly to see mom throughout her years with them and the atmosphere at the home was homely, friendly and above all caring. All the staff treat all the residents with respect, dignity, great care and compassion. When Mom's health deteriorated, the staff were fantastic in providing end of life care for mom and were so supportive and helpful to me and my family through a few difficult months. If you are looking for care home for your loved one, go and visit them and see for yourself because you will feel the love and care as soon you go there and meet the team. You are all angels, thank you so much for everything you did for mom, I will be forever grateful to you all.

Thank you for taking the time to write this lovely review. The staff and manager loved looking after your Mum, she was always singing and making the staff laugh and she is very missed by all. We are all delighted by the gift of the lovely bench and now Mum will always be remembered by the staff and home.Best wishes, The team at Roundham Court

My mother has been at Roundham Court for over two years and more than ever I have come to appreciate the high quality of care she receives. The teamwork of the staff several times has shown their awareness of my mother's usual state of health, identified changes in her behaviour, and dealt with potential additional medical issues. Not an easy task in view of her Alzheimers and Dementia. She enjoys the pleasant and comfortable atmosphere with optional activities and entertainment encouraging social contact. All supported by the smiling faces of the staff as they interact with residents. Mum's emotional health is much improved, once again happy and cheerful.

My father has settled well into this care home and after a couple of weeks was willing to stay there. The staff are always kind and helpful while still following the rules due to covid.
There is a welcoming family feel and it's great to see so many in the lounge of their own free will including my father who I thought would stay in his room.

Gives me peace of mind that he is safe warm and cared for and well fed.

Thank you for your lovely words, it will mean a lot to the staff especially at the moment when it is hard for them working in a care setting. They are a lovely bunch of staff at Roundham Court and we are extremely proud of them all and how they have coped this past two years. It is lovely to know...

Mom received excellent care from the majority of staff at Roundham. She settled well and staff welcomed mom and the family in a difficult time. I was able to deliver care alongside the staff as mom came to the end of her life which was important to us both. I would recommend Roundham to anyone.

We are carers (15yrs). In order to give us time to "do our own thing", I looked around for 2 days a week respite for my 102-year-old lady resident. Having tried 3 places which advertise locally I was dismayed at the "care packages" offered. I then contacted the manageress at the above and was very impressed by her, the friendly informal ambience, excellent food and general homely feeling. My lady loves going there and had her birthday party with friends there in April.

As soon as we entered Roundham Court I knew it would be the perfect home for my aunt. She appreciates the friendliness of the staff and residents, the food, the cleanliness, her nicely furnished bedroom and the beautiful views across the bay. In fact, she sometimes feels as if she is on holiday. When we go to visit, it is good to see familiar faces amongst the staff - a sure sign of a happy team and a good manager. The team recently put on a lovely birthday celebration.

Very pleased with the way that Roundham Court is run. All the staff are so friendly and know exactly where your relatives are when you walk in the door.
Nice outlook from the rooms over the sea right across the bay to Torquay and Brixham. Medical attention is also very good if anyone is in need.

A big thank you to all.

The care home is excellent in every way. The staff are friendly, professional and incredibly approachable. My mother has been in their care for two and a half years and is now suffering from the last stages of Alzheimer's. The more extensive her needs become the more care and compassion she is given. The management is always on hand and has a walk in system so you can discuss any fears with a sympathetic and knowledgeable person.

Our mother spent the last two year of her life at Roundham Court. She had dementia and various health and mobility issues. We looked at a number of care home before finding Roundham Court and were extremely happy with our choice. The quality of care that mum received was exceptional on all accounts.

The staff without exception were friendly, patient and caring. They were very sensitive to mum's needs, both physical and emotional and also to our needs as family members, especially during mum's last days. We are very grateful.

My Father was resident for 6 years. There were aspects I had concerns about. Rather than addressing these concerns my father was given notice to move.

Since moving him he has blossomed which indicates to us, as a family, that our concerns were valid.
