My father was moved to Kahala Court after a short but life changing illness. The staff were always very cheerful and accommodating with his requests. Whenever we visited any members of the team we met were always very helpful, informative and only too pleased to have a chat with us, making us feel that
we were included in the care dad was receiving.

Reply from Nikki Rogers, Owner at Kahala Court

Thank you for the review and feedback for the team. This is so important for our continuous improvement of the home and service which we provide. Having visited my old friend for a long time now, I am always so impressed by Kahala Court. The staff are always so caring and cheerful and the management excellent. It is wonderful to know that my friend and the other residents are looked after so well - nothing seems to be too much trouble for any
of the staff - they are amazing. I can't praise them enough.

My stay for five days was due to building work in my home leaving it unsafe for me to stay, I found Puddavine a friendly home staff very staff very helpful, and cared for the resident in their care, they did the manager proud. Encouraging residents to come to the dining room for meals takes time and
patience this home was clean and my room bright and very clean.

Our experience with Kahala Court has been extremely good. From the moment we walked in with my mother, we felt a sense of warmth and genuine care. My mother was always clean, comfortable, respected and well taken care of. The carers are very kind and patient and tried to form a meaningful connection
with my mother despite her extensive dementia. Her immobility meant she required full nursing care, which was always done to the highest standard. The home is clean, well maintained and a welcoming environment. We are very grateful for the dedication of the entire team right until Mum's dignified death. We highly recommend Kahala.

My Parents both entered Bascombe Court in March 2022. Unfortunately my father died a couple of months later but I know his final weeks were amongst the happiest he spent with my Mother until his passing.
The admittance of my parents and their immediate care needs were dealt with without fuss and really
exceeded my expectations, and, still continuing is the first class care for my Mother.
The management and team at all levels have a truly exceptional work ethic with a friendly and caring attitude at all times.
The rooms are spotless and cleaned regularly.
Having some experience of other care homes where other family members are resident, I will be forever grateful that Bascombe Court came to their rescue when needed.

Kahala is excellent. The care staff are very caring, helpful and friendly to the residents. The management do an excellent job and are always involved and always very willing to engage.
Kahala runs smoothly, it is clean, well looked after and cozy. Sometimes the TV and music is too noisy for the residents
and visitors. Overall excellent. I would recommend it.

My mother was a resident at Kahala Court fort three years, and in that time the staff and management have looked after her with care & compassion. In her declining years, she was made comfortable and although she didn't take part in many of the activities provided, she at least was entertained by them!
The atmosphere in the home was always cheerful and friendly. I couldn't have asked for better care for my mother.

My mother has been in Quay Court for three years having passed last week. She had always deceived the best of care delivered with kindness, caring and thoughtfulness from the staff. Every day greeted with a smile and "how are you". The home has high standards of cleanliness and residents are always
well turned out. She loved the meals and joining in the residents group in the lounge. Public holidays are made special, decorations and music. As a visitor to my mother I was made to feel very welcome, offered refreshments and always a cheery smile. I shall miss these visits and the staff.

My Mum was a resident at Puddavine for 5 happy years despite her deteriorating health and the intervening of the Covid years which was handled exceptionally well at the time.
We were always made to feel so welcome, it really was like being part of an extended family.
Also being able to take Mum out
was such a blessing, this was made possible by the support and guidance of the staff who always helped to do this with good humour and kindness.
Puddavine exceeded my expectations in many ways but particularly the standard of cleanliness, the cleaning team are amazing and such a lovely friendly bunch, Mum loved to chat to them as they went about their duties.
There is a lovely visitors room with tea and coffee and the well kept garden was also a place Mum loved, we often joked we didn't need a membership for protected sites!
The friendly smiles and kind words from the staff always made such a difference to Mum's world and ours.
Puddavine really did feel like home, not a Home.

Our mother was a resident for over 4 years up until her recent death. She really felt as though this was her home and we as her family really appreciated the excellent care she received. This was especially apparent during the past weeks when her needs became much more demanding. The care and attention
by the staff was second to none and showed a high degree of excellence and patience. We would also like to highlight the incredible level of support and comfort shown to family members during the final weeks. We wish to express our heartfelt thanks to the whole team at Kahala Court.
