Hi, I’m Deb, the Registered Manager here at Castleman House.

I’ve been a Registered Nurse for over 35 years and have spent the last 15 years working as a Residential Manager in care settings. I still feel as passionate today as I did when I first started, and I feel very lucky to do a job I truly love.

Here at Castleman House, we pride ourselves on creating a real home from home. We’re more like one big family, where everyone is welcomed, supported, and valued—including families, friends, and even the much-loved furry members of the family.

I have a very open-door approach, so please feel free to come and chat with me anytime. Whether you have a question, a suggestion, or just want to say hello, I’m always happy to listen.

Our team is dedicated to making each day meaningful and enjoyable, supporting people to live well in a warm, relaxed, and friendly environment. And when someone comes to the end of their journey, we are here to provide gentle, dignified, and peaceful care—supporting not only the individual, but those closest to them too.

For the past 10 years, I have been proud to be part of the Castleman House team. I am passionate about helping people live happy, fulfilling lives while maintaining their independence, dignity, and freedom to make their own choices.

Working alongside Deb and our dedicated team, I help ensure that every resident receives outstanding person-centred care tailored to their individual needs. I particularly enjoy building strong relationships with residents and their families, and I believe that compassion, trust, and good communication are at the heart of excellent care.
