Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
The sweetest care home I have ever come across. It is a small residential care home that takes a maximum of ten residents. It also now has two independent living units upstairs for people who need sheltered housing.
Woodlands manages something rare and precious - it is a home rather than a home. It's
a family, where people eat together, play together and dance together. Although I knew Woodlands was special it wasn't until Mum was dying that I got to spend more time in the home and see just how much love there is for the residents, how much patience the staff have and just how person-centred the care is. The relationships are what make this such a special place - everyone is valued. The people who work there are the sweetest bunch of individuals I've ever met.
Mum lived at Woodlands for seven years and had more fun in her last seven years than I think she'd ever had in her whole life. She made some fabulous friends and got up to some fabulous mischief.

Thank you so much for the lovely review of our service. Our small home would not be the same without families like you; the residents and families are what makes Woodlands Farmhouse so special; a real family unit. I will pass your comments to all our team who I know miss you all. The kettle is always on if ever you are passing by.
