Thank you for a lovely review , You mom has settled in so well since moving to us and has become a big part of the Housman family. Having relatives gateway keeps family's involved in all aspects of their loved ones care and provides a link between relatives and staff to share information quickly and efficiently.
Thank you for a lovely review, what a character you mom is, always making the staff and residents laugh and keeping us on our toes !Now that the weather is getting better we have a lot of upcoming events including the much anticipated Abba garden party which I'm sure your mom will be the star of.Activity calendars are published monthly to outline what we have going on within the home, we are also open to any suggestions from residents or families so that activities can be person centred and tailored to each residents ability and needs. We look forwrad to seeing you at any future event
It is with dismay that the staff, residents and families at Housman have read your review, especially as so many made the effort to attend your mother's farewell tea party, to wish her well in her new placement. She will be remembered with great affection as a courteous lady, with exquisite manners. We recognise her move was family decision and recollections as to the antecedent for the move may vary. Residents greatly enjoy the social events at Housman which we record in our "Housman Chronicles". Residents enjoy looking at the plethora of event photographs and seeing themselves taking an active part in the life of their home, which is a place of security. In addition to planned theme nights, there are daily activities, weekly hairdressers, our GP service also visits weekly. Our position at the top of the High Street enables residents to regularly leave the home for shopping trips and visits to the local amenities and places of worship with their families.
Thank you so much for your kind words. It is a honour and a pleasure to be chosen to care for your loved ones, as we understand how precious they are to you. We treat all our residents as an extension of our own family. I will share this with the Housman family. Thank you again.
I want to say a big thank you to all the team at Housman for everything that you do.
Thank you for your kind words, the team very much appreciate your comments and we are pleased you enjoy visiting our home from home.
