Parklands Care Home

Parklands provides thoughtful and personalised care for all its residents. It benefits from an excellent setting , a genuine community feel and experienced managment at a competitive price. In short it is highly recommended in all aspects follwing my mothers residence there over five years.

My mother has mixed dementia and has been in Parklands for just over a year. During that time she has always presented clean and tidy with all her needs met. The staff are very good at keeping me updated on all aspects of her health and medication. Mum has a lovely room overlooking the stunning garden. The staff are caring and attentive. Mum is particularly pleased with the laundry service as her clothes are often returned to her the same day and always in excellent condition. Overall I would not hesitate to recommend Parklands to anyone considering care homes.

My mother has been at Parklands for a year, it is a peaceful, welcoming home which enabled my mother to settle in very quickly, despite some trepidation to begin with. She has a lovely room with a beautiful aspect overlooking the Worcestershire countryside towards the Malverns. The care she requires is well provided and I feel well informed if any additional concerns develop.

Parklands Care Home staff provide the highest possible professional standards of care and support you could wish for for your loved one who is resident there. My mother has been a resident at Parklands for six years. She is extremely happy there and enjoys all the socialising opportunities the home provides for her to interact with fellow residents on a daily basis. She is treated with dignity and respect at all times. Knowing how well she is looked after is very reassuring and gives me peace of mind as her son, knowing that I have placed her in the best care home locally.

Mom has been a resident here for nearly 12 months. The staff go above and beyond, nothing is too much trouble. All care needs are met and other professionals contacted as necessary and as needed. A friendly atmosphere, several activities provided. Information provided if there are any concerns regarding Mom.

My mother went in for 2 weeks respite within the first 3 days she had lost her earing aid , no one could find it apparently found in her shoe after a week , no one told us it was missing they left her without it, 2nd I had to call my nephew and his fiancé to go into the home after my mother had been in there a week they hadn't showered her or given her clean clothes. My nephew had a word with the manager and they just blamed the night staff not taking any responsibility at all. 3rd I went in on the second week mom had just had a shower I put her in clean clothes my sister went in 4 days later and she was still in the same clothes , even though I was told when I phoned she had clean clothes on and showered. My mom has alzemiers and diamentia and they have tried to say she isn't that bad I think we as a family know better than them. I am disgusted they treated my mother this way and they shouldn't be in the job as carers if they are not capable of doing the job

My aunty was a resident at Parklands Care Home for 8 years. She was cared for with kindness and dignity. Parklands work hard at providing activities and experiences for the residents and pay attention to each individual needs. They communicated well with me and kept me well-informed. I felt like part of their family. My aunty was loved and cared for by the staff until the end of her life.

In our view there cannot be any greater recommendation.

My mother has been at Parklands now for nearly five years. The staff are so friendly and have a deep understanding of their residents. I could not have picked a better home. My mother is happy and very well cared for.

The sensitivity and kindness my sister and I witnessed during our mothers last few days was exemplary and something that we will always be grateful for. Thank you.

We really appreciate the care and dignity our mum was shown in the three years she was at Parklands. The manager and her staff went above and beyond to care for our mum and to make sure all her needs were met. Thank you.

It was very comforting to know that she was kept safe and well. I would really recommend this home to anyone who is looking for a friend or relative.

My father lived at Parklands for a short while at the end of 2020 when he was no longer able to cope with living alone and feeling lonely. The staff were caring and supportive right from the start, both to my father and to the rest of the family at what was a difficult time. We cannot fault the care he received during two weeks of isolation and afterwards when he was able to socialise. They gave him the best Christmas with lots of company and fun; we are so glad his last Christmas was a happy one. He looked forward to 2021 there but, unfortunately, didn't have long before he became ill!

Everything at Parklands suits my mother's needs and wellbeing very well. The care and personal attention of the staff, the friendly atmosphere and the quietly professional way the home is run could not be better. Parklands has a homely feel which I think greatly benefits the residents. The staff are kind and go out of their way to please. My mother is so well cared for and this gives my family and me great comfort and peace of mind.

The Parklands care home was very caring and helpful.

The lady I visit has been a family friend for many years, she has settled into the home very well. She has a lovely room upstairs, with lovely views, she has three good meals a day and plenty of choice each day. The staff are very good, but they don't seem to stay long, which is a shame as the residents get to know them then they go. They are doing some work on the gardens this year, so that will be nice for residents to sit outside. They have started to do more activities for residents which is good as otherwise all they do is watch TV and go to sleep. It is a very good home, I love going there, I'm always made to feel welcome.

I have found Parklands Care Home to be very caring and kind to my mother. It gives her all she needs to be safe and looked after. On the rare occasions that I have had any problems the management have always acted quickly to put things right.

This does not cause any problems as mom can come and go as she wants to, there are no restrictions.

There are two lounges, a quite lounge that mom likes and a larger activities lounge . There always seems to be adequate staffing . They have extensive grounds that are accessible in the summer to sit in with residents.
