I've had the pleasure of being part of the Stonebow Team since 2017 and feel very proud to be part of such a caring and supportive community. Since becoming a Registered Manager in 2021, I've loved continuing to support both our residents and staff. Alongside this role, I am also the home's GDPR officer.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and going for long walks with the dog.
I have worked at Stonebow house since January 2026 as a lead supporting the registered Manager, staff team, residents and families. I really enjoy audits, planning, risk assessments and care plans. I have been working in health care since 1992.
I started my career as a care assistant in a residential and nursing home, moving on to management within the learning disability sector for the next 26 years. I then joined Stonebow House.
It's wonderful being back where I started supporting older people in residential care. I enjoy sharing my knowledge, skills and experience with the team here and delivering my biggest passion - person-centred care and support.
I trained as a florist when I left school and enjoy sharing this with the people I support. The biggest reward is going home after each shift knowing I have made a difference, whether it's big or small!
In my spare time, I love walking, biking, reading, holidays and being with my grandchildren.
Hi, my name is Sandra. I am a lead care, quality assurance officer and head of staff wellbeing. I have worked in care for 40 plus years, and I love my job. I enjoy everything to do with elderly care and ensuring residents get the best possible care. I have worked at Stonebow House for 10 years this year, and I feel proud and honoured to be working at Stonebow House.
Hi, I have worked at Stonebow House since November 2025. I love creating meaningful activities and encouraging engagement from the residents.
I have worked in care for 23 years, starting as a care assistant in a residential home. I have worked in a range of care settings as a care assistant, senior carer, care assessor and recruitment.
In my spare time, I love a range of arts and crafts. I also love spending time with family, walking, biking and family days out.
I have worked at Stonebow House for two years and in the care sector for over twenty years. I work in the laundry and find my role very satisfying. When I'm not at work, I enjoy reading, gardening and looking after my grandchildren.
I have worked at Stonebow for four years in the auxiliary department. I enjoy doing the cleaning because it is rewarding and satisfying, but definitely hard work. I moved from Weston-super-Mare to Evesham 4 years ago, and I do miss the seaside, but I love walks by the river! I love Liverpool FC and Harry Potter.
I have worked at Stonebow for nearly a year. Spending time with residents is what keeps my wheels turning each day.
Everyone has a plethora of stories to tell, and I love listening to them and encouraging them to reminisce about the good and the bad times throughout the decades. It really puts things into perspective.
In my free time, I love to see my family as much as possible. Working at Stonebow makes you realise how important family is.
I enjoy working in care at Stonebow House, and I find the role very rewarding. I value supporting residents with dignity and kindness, putting a smile on their faces and being a part of their day-to-day lives. I appreciate the warm atmosphere of the home, along with the supportive management, caring owners who genuinely put residents and staff first.
I have been a carer at Stonebow for six and a half years. I love talking to the residents.
In my spare time, I like going on days out to the Severn Valley Railway and going to the seaside. I also love gardening.
I have been an activities coordinator for 18 months at Stonebow House, and I love what I do. My role is to enable everyone who lives in the home to live an active life.
I get such a lot of pleasure from being an activities coordinator. I really get to know all the residents on an individual level. You become aware of each resident's likes, such as which is their favourite seat, who they like to sit next to and what they like to drink, etc.
I find my job role very fulfilling, I look forward to coming to work every day.
