During the 12 months my mother has been a resident at Teme Court she has settled in well, after living in the family home on her own where she was no longer able to cope. Living distant from Worcester I have been provided with the reassurance that she is being well cared for and her varying needs, she has good days and bad days temperament-wise, is always met, by professional and caring staff. On my phone calls to chat with mum I invariably get a summary of how she has been for the past few days from the staff member before speaking to mum. I have yet to discover anything that is too much trouble for the staff to assist with and appreciate the option when visiting to have a private quiet area in which to spend our time. The Manager and Deputy Manager are always very proactive in keeping me updated on any proposed changes to mum's care plan, as well as their intentions for updates and improvements to the already excellent facilities that Teme Court provides for its residents.
Thank you for your kind words. Our staff work hard to meet the standards we have set and your review means a lot to us. I will pass on your feedback to the team.
My mother has been a resident at Teme Court for almost a year now, and we have always found the staff most helpful, courteous, kind, and caring. Nothing is too much trouble, including booking visits for other relatives who live some distance away when they wish to visit. The Manager and Deputy Manager in particular always keep me included in any changes to Mum's care plan, outcome of chats with medical staff from the GP Practice, etc. Unfortunately Mum's condition varies but the staff have a good understanding of her needs and mood changes in particular, and deal with her accordingly in a very polite, caring, and nurturing way. The home is always clean and tidy, and is currently undergoing a lot of refurbishment. I would thoroughly recommend Teme Court to anyone looking for a home from home placement for an elderly relative.
Thank you for your positive review. Your feedback helps us monitor and maintain the standards which we have set ourselves. Our staff work hard and a review like yours makes it all worthwhile.
Contacted the home to ask for emergency help with my wife, management was happy to help me and, even though they did not have an available room, they offered me the option of daycare instead. This has helped us massively as we are not yet ready for full-time care. She is now able to get to enjoy the home and staff. All staff have been great and she enjoys spending days there for company.
Thank you for your kind words; we are always happy to help where we can. Its a pleasure having you both here at Teme Court.
Great care home, amazing, friendly staff that couldn't do enough for us. Would highly recommend it. Very clean and tidy. Always welcome to visit. My Grandad loved it there, even though he didn't want to leave his home.
Thank you so much, I will pass this on to the team. It was an absolute pleasure to look after your granddad. Take care all. Dani and the team.
My mother has been a resident at Teme Court now for while, it is never easy to accept any family member having to go into care, however, I must say from the start of the process until the present, the management have been most accommodating, understanding and literally, nothing is ever too much trouble. All the staff are so supportive and communication is fantastic. As well as having Dementia, my mother also had weight issues but is settled and putting weight on now. This has put us at ease, as a family. The home is currently going through a refurbishment which is very well planned and causing no disruption to the home. We are looking forward to seeing the end result - so much hard work going into it.
Thank you for your kind words, I will pass this on to the team. It's always good to hear positive feedback. Dani and Zoe.
My father moved in here, after a short stay in hospital in 2021. Due to several strokes and falls, it meant he could not live at home any longer. He was made to feel welcome and at home from the start of his care. All the staff went out of their way to make his stay as comfortable as possible and nothing was too much trouble. When he needed palliative care towards the end of his illness, the staff became like family to us, always ready to communicate and make us welcome. With special thanks to the manager and all the staff.
Thank you for such a lovely review, I will be sure to pass this on to the team, you are always welcome here and it was an absolute pleasure to look after Dad. Take care and we will see you soon.
My cousin recently moved into Teme Court in October 2021, having made the decision he was in need of some extra support. It was a big decision to make, knowing he would give up a degree of independence. He need not have worried, the manager and all her staff made him feel very welcome straight away. They have gone the extra mile to encourage and support his daily trips out on his scooter, (with his agreement to let them know his whereabouts, keeping in touch by phone.) He visits family and friends nearby. The management's sensitive approach, encouraging my cousin's degree of independence has helped him settle in to a caring, warm environment very quickly. The well prepared meals contribute to the high standards of this lovely home. Thank you to all the caring staff for their support and exceptional diligence in keeping their residents safe through the COVID period, with their high standards of safely care in looking after their vulnerable residents.
Thank you for your kind words, I will be sure to pass this on to the rest of the team.
My mum recently went to Teme Court for respite whilst she was undergoing an intensive plan to get her back to some level of normality. This came about from several hospital admissions and we needed some help to get her back up on her feet. The staff were supportive, helpful and went above and beyond to ensure that Mum was happy and that she was eating and drinking enough, on a daily basis. They were very accommodating. The building is old, unique and well presented. The warmth from the staff was natural. Thank you again, we now have our Mum back to a good standard.
Thank you for your kind words; we wish you all the very best. Happy we could help.
My uncle has been here since August, staff are always friendly and welcoming he seems to be really happy here, we can visit regularly in a quiet environment, management are always happy to help and will go the extra mile, he loves the food and is actually eating well since moving in. As a family we are really grateful for the support we receive.
Thank you for your kind words, I will be sure to let the team know
Every time I went to see her, she seemed fine in herself, the staff I met all seemed positive in their outlook and were interacting well with Mum, popping in and out of the meeting room during my visits, to make sure she was okay. Thank you to all the staff at Teme Court for making Mum's final days as comfortable as possible and I take some comfort from knowing she passed away painlessly and peacefully.
Thank you for such a lovely review and your positive comments. I will relay this to the team. Best wishes Dani and Sharon
My sister has been there nearly 12 months, she loves it there, all the staff and the manager are lovely and friendly, any concerns are answered, the home is clean and very welcoming, my sister is very happy there and hopes to have many years there. Thanks to you all at Teme Court.
My father came here in July and the management and staff have been very helpful with my dad and he has settled in lovely. The care he gets is extremely good and I’m very happy with the way they look after him. Thanks Teme Court - very well done to all who work there.
The staff have ensured that they know my mum's likes and dislikes, and also the indicators of her not feeling well, as she would not necessarily inform them due to her memory.
All of the staff have a friendly demeanour with my mum, and she refers to them as her "friends".
The range of food options are very good catering to likes and dislikes and always offering an alternative, with snacks available during the day.
The housekeeping at the home is excellent, my mum's room is always spotless.
We as a family are very grateful for the continued care and support that is provided to our mum.Well done to everyone, keep up the good work.
My Mother and Father were both residents at a Teme Court for some years when they were well in their 90’s. My Mother didn’t settle well due to ill health and dementia that caused her awful distress. Teme Court managed the situation very well and looked after her till her death aged 97. My Father had settled very well there and was very content he missed his wife of over 70 years but coped better than my expectations. The staff loved him and always had time for him as he grew more infirm he was more of a challenge but they stepped up the plate and coped and look after him very well until he died aged 101. He was happy there and it showed. His hearing was a big challenge to all but his appetite was always good and he enjoyed his morning biscuits, always saving one for later in case he got hungry. All knew he was failing when his appetite went downhill. He passed away in a place he knew and way content.
Thank you Teme Court for all you care and attention to my Mother and Father.
The level of care and compassion shown by the staff is excellent. My mum could not have been better cared for, nor treated with more dignity, anywhere else.
Thank you Teme Court.
In her final days, they visited at the hospital to see us and pay their respects.
A small, personal and wonderful care home.
