Outstanding professional care has been shown with love and kindness from the start . They go out of their way to properly protect and care for my relative. The medical link up of needs for residents is very good and they take proper measures to prevent accidents . The entire home is very clean and rooms are properly continuously cleaned . Staff are kind and friendly and always on hand to sort out needs of patients . The food is good.

Your comments about our staff, cleanliness, food, and commitment to providing a safe and supportive environment mean a great deal to us. We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.
Due to my condition psp my needs could change at any time meaning i could at some point require nursing care but until then my needs are being met to high standards and i'm very happy here.
Thank you for your heartfelt review. We are so pleased to hear that you feel supported and cared for by our whole team. The staff are very friendly but diligent in their care, the home is scrupulously clean and the gardens are lovely. Residents seem very happy and enjoy outings occasionally. The food is very wholesome
Your feedback means a great deal to us, and we will be sure to share it with the team.
Very high standard of care. Staff are very kind and patient. Lovely atmosphere. Lovely setting with beautiful gardens and ample parking for visitors. Always made to feel very welcome when we visit my mum.
It means a great deal to know that you feel so welcome when visiting your mum.
I have found this care home to be excellent in every way. For years I worked in various homes in this area as a physiotherapist. I found they vary so much and also I found that you knew fairly quickly if they were not as they should be. As I entered Footherly into their welcoming hall I said 'this feels good may be able to leave him here- 'not sure why I felt that ! But my opinion after 18 months has proved my feelings that day. They keep their caring lovely staff for years , they entertain the patients with loads of activities . The food is good etc etc - the main thing is I trust them and wish other homes I've been have come up to their standard and more importantly , their kindness and compassion .
Thank you for your thoughtful review and for sharing your experience. It means so much to us to receive such kind feedback, especially from someone with professional experience in care. We are delighted to hear that our team's kindness, compassion and dedication have given you confidence and trust....
The home and grounds are beautiful. The facilities are excellent, the meals are good and there is a packed programme of social events to keep the residents occupied.
I am so grateful to all the Team.
Thank you for your wonderful review. We are delighted to hear that you are so happy with the care your dad receives at Footherley Hall. Your kind words about our team, home, gardens, activities and dining mean a great deal to us, and we will be sure to share your feedback with everyone. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience.
Footherley is a wonderful care home. The staff are all kind, respectful, patient, understanding - always going the extra mile to make sure that my parents are happy.
The home is spotlessly clean and always smells pleasant.
There are lots of activities available to residents and I love the fact that I can make us a cup of tea when I arrive, just as I would in their own home.
My mother has recently passed away and Footherley have been amazing in supporting us all. All of the staff treat us as family - we are so grateful for everything they have done for us.
Thank you for your kind words and for sharing your family's experience. We are pleased to know that your parents felt at home at Footherley and that our team's care and support made a difference. Please accept our heartfelt condolences on your loss - it has been a privilege to care for your mother and to support your family.
We have been very happy to entrust the staff with looking after our Mother and feel they got to know her very quickly, attending to her needs with much care and compassion, and ensuring all her needs are met.
Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful words about Footherley Hall. We are truly honoured that you have entrusted us with the care of your beloved mother. It brings us great joy to know that her transition from respite care to becoming a permanent resident has been a positive experience for...
The staff go beyond what I expected. All the staff exude professionalism and a top class work ethos, the atmosphere is always fabulous.
Looking forward to enjoying the beautiful gardens with Mum in the Spring. Mum is so contented and for that I am extremely grateful.
Thank you so much for your heartfelt review. We are truly delighted to hear that your mum's transition to Footherley Hall has been so positive and that she is receiving the care and attention she deserves. Our team takes great pride in providing a nurturing, professional, and compassionate...
At New Year, we had an immediate need for short term respite care for my 92 year old father due to a terrible flu that affected his chest and mobility, resulting in a couple of falls. The team at Christ the King Footherly Hall were welcoming, understanding and provided immediate help in our situation, for which we were very grateful. Our priority was our dad's safety 24/7, his recovery, and a period of respite care to rebuild his strength so he could return home if he was well enough. His room was well appointed and had stunning countryside views, the home was well equipped and set in beautiful rural grounds, and the team were friendly, knowledgable and kind. Dad was given a very warm welcome and looked after beautifully, with attentive medical care on hand to support his recovery. A big thank you to one staff member in particular and the team for all you have done for us and for Dad in our time of need. We are very grateful. And although he very much wanted to return home, he found actually saying goodbye quite emotional!
Thank you for your kind words. We're so glad we could support your father during his recovery and provide the care and comfort he needed. It means a lot to hear that our team made a difference, and we'll be sure to pass on your appreciation. Best wishes, Sisters Hospitallers CIO
Mum has been a resident for almost 12 months now, in that time whilst her mental condition has sadly declined, physically she is so much better. Her terrible anxiety and depression has also reduced. The kindness and love shown by everyone at Christ the King Footherley Hall has made her feel settled and happy, which therefore has also made me feel relaxed and happy. All the staff take an interest in her, as they appear to do with all the residents, she is always wearing clean clothes and her bedroom is kept spotlessly clean. There is a very caring atmosphere at Footherley which becomes apparent as soon as you walk through the door. There are some lovely activities, and in the summer when the weather was good their lunch was sometimes served in the garden which mum loved. I looked around many care homes before picking Footherley it is an overwhelming task! I cannot thank everyone at Footherley enough for giving me peace of mind whilst navigating the horror that is dementia.
Thank you very much for your kind words. Your comments help and inspire us to improve every day!
Mum moved into Footherley in early February after leaving her home of 62 years. There was obviously an initial settling-in period, but after just a fortnight we noticed a marked difference in her contentment. We have been so impressed with the management who take a great deal of care in listening to Mum and her family. The welcome from the friendly receptionists to the care shown by the carers, sisters and all members of the team is exemplary. She is enjoying her food and the company of the carers and residents. They are working hard on controlling her medication. Her room is perfect for her and the lounge and her favourite conservatory, where she enjoys reading her paper, are more than comfortable. I have witnessed a broad range of activities in the lounge which obviously are enjoyed by the residents. I have also noted the valued work of the friends of Footherley. Her settling into Footherley has given our family a real peace of mind.
My aunt came out of the hospital and had major mobility issues. She went from living independently to ending up in a hospital bed in the lounge. I contacted Footherly and she was assessed and offered a room. My aunt is now up and dressed and has her make-up on and her hair done and has a good quality of life and is much happier. She has amazing care and I cannot recommend Footherly enough.
My mother has now resided at this home for just over 10 years. On her 10th Anniversary, they made a real fuss of her and threw a big celebration. When she went into the home, she was struggling with recovery from a severe stroke, but has defied all odds and has gained in health and vitality. That is down to the tremendous care she has received at the home. It is well organised with excellent carers who treat each resident as though they are their own relative. And the setting is exceptional, with beautifully laid out grounds which the residents get to enjoy when weather permits. Can't speak highly enough of Footherley and would recommend it to anyone.
Thank you very much, Paul, for your kind words. That our centre has been your mother's home for ten years is an honour for us. She has become one of the most beloved members of our Hospitaller family!
I have been extremely happy with Footherley with their due care and attention. In a stressful time, they accommodated my friend at very short notice and they were exemplary in making sure everything was taken care of at the outset. Since then I have seen all members of staff act respectfully and caring not only with my friend but everyone else in the care home. It is a pleasure to visit there and if any queries or questions they are only too happy to help and make you feel very valued and welcome to the care home.
Thank you very much for your kind words. Your comments help and inspire us to improve every day!
The home is so friendly and homely, it is set in beautiful grounds and there is a lovely chapel where my mum attends Mass. When we go to see Mum she is so bright and happy, she has engaged with all of the activities quizzes, bingo and concerts she has even won a game or two of dominoes which we didn't know she could play.
My mum has never had a better social life. She has made friends in the home which is so lovely to see.
She has just spent her first Christmas at Footherley Hall and she had a fantastic time, there were; carol concerts, parties and a pantomime.
Whenever I visit Mum the staff are so friendly, and they have made the effort to get to know us as a family which means a lot.
I am very grateful to all of the team at Footherley Hall, you are all fabulous.
Thank you very much for your kind words, we are glad that your mother is enjoying her stay at our care home.
Moving into care was a big change for her aged 98. She soon realised that everyone there will happily go that extra mile to help her. She is eating well now and has put back some of the weight she lost in hospital. She often says the soup is 'to die for' and that the meals are well presented.
We feel happy knowing that she is looked after so well.
Thank you very much for your kind words. We are so glad that your mother is happy with us and that she appreciates so much the spectacular work of our incredible team of chefs!
The care they get is fantastic, the staff support the residents' every need and always go the extra mile for them. Whenever I visit Mum the staff are always smiling and so friendly. I am so happy that I know my mum is safe and enjoying herself at 93! Footherley has given my mother a new lease of life. Thank you everyone at Footherley, you're all wonderful.
Thank you very much for your review. Your kind words are an incentive to keep improving every day!
