Outstanding professional care has been shown with love and kindness from the start . They go out of their way to properly protect and care for my relative. The medical link up of needs for residents is very good and they take proper measures to prevent accidents . The entire home is very clean and rooms are properly continuously cleaned . Staff are kind and friendly and always on hand to sort out needs of patients . The food is good.

My mother, Rosabel has been in St. Teresa's for 18 months, she is 102.
I can not fault the home, food and all the staff. The staff are always extremely helpful, competent and charming, my thanks to the all.
My tiny criticism is, sometimes, access to the Home on Sundays can be difficult with no one answering the door bell.

Overall all my family members who visit feel the same as me about the brilliant St. Teresa's.

i've found that anyone from the management to the maintenance men, have been very helpful. when i have felt low the carers have always greeted me compassion and care making me feel better about my situation, also the sisters are very attentive and caring making me feel comfortable in my surroundings when i have felt home sick. i would highly recommend Footherley Hall to anyone looking for a care home for a relative or loved one.

Due to my condition psp my needs could change at any time meaning i could at some point require nursing care but until then my needs are being met to high standards and i'm very happy here.

Review of St Teresa's Home from Angelique P (Goddaughter of Resident) published on 30 June 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience

This has to be the most beautiful all encompassing Home in London if not an absolute wonderful example of care at its best. The homely spotless environment the sheer beauty of the surroundings space church gardens and the gentle generosity of staff only caps the service and time given to all. The sisters of St Theresa's are the icing on the cake. Care at any time for the vulnerable and elderly is a complex all absorbing and time demanding job. Here my impression is always one of total effortless commitment. Wonderful management and may they always be blessed in all their work. Thank you

Overall Experience

I have found this care home to be excellent in every way. For years I worked in various homes in this area as a physiotherapist. I found they vary so much and also I found that you knew fairly quickly if they were not as they should be. As I entered Footherly into their welcoming hall I said 'this feels good may be able to leave him here- 'not sure why I felt that ! But my opinion after 18 months has proved my feelings that day. They keep their caring lovely staff for years , they entertain the patients with loads of activities . The food is good etc etc - the main thing is I trust them and wish other homes I've been have come up to their standard and more importantly , their kindness and compassion .

Very kind staff who always try to do their best for our mother. The home is warm and well furnished, with lots of activities for those who want to join in. The Sunday lunch is a particular highlight of the week.
The bedrooms are light and airy, and many different sizes.
The garden is lovely and the flowering window boxes are a joyous sight on arrival.

There is always a warm welcome and lots of smiles.

My parents moved into Footherley in May 2022. My father was not ready to move into a care home at the time but we were viewing for my mother, with a view to him joining her when he was ready. After being shown around he said we should ask for a double room and they moved in shortly afterwards. They settled in easily. Food has always been important to them and they were delighted by the quality and choice of the menus on offer.
Footherley is a wonderful care home. The staff are all kind, respectful, patient, understanding - always going the extra mile to make sure that my parents are happy.
The home is spotlessly clean and always smells pleasant.
There are lots of activities available to residents and I love the fact that I can make us a cup of tea when I arrive, just as I would in their own home.

My mother has recently passed away and Footherley have been amazing in supporting us all. All of the staff treat us as family - we are so grateful for everything they have done for us.

My Mother has been a resident here for 2 months, initially for 3 respite stays and following review today has become a permanent resident. This is because we have been very impressed with the high standard of care and kindness shown to her throughout the stay, from all the staff at all levels/ areas of care.

We have been very happy to entrust the staff with looking after our Mother and feel they got to know her very quickly, attending to her needs with much care and compassion, and ensuring all her needs are met.

My mum has been a resident for over 18 months and she is very happy. She has a large room, care around the clock, good food and activities to keep her busy and entertained. The building has lovely grounds for the residents to walk around and as a visitor I like to walk there in the warmer weather.
I feel that my mum is safe and well cared for.

I have attended a relatives meeting, which was very well organised.

My Mum moved into St Augustine's Care Home in January 2023 after having a heart attack and pneumonia and being left extremely weak and unable to walk. It was fortunately recommended to us by one of her friends. The staff were very welcoming and caring both to her and our family. They managed to nurse her back to better health than we could have hoped for and keep her safe and happy. I am so grateful to the sisters, carers and receptionists for their kindness and the dignity with which they treat the residents. The atmosphere is perfect for my Mum and she loves the religious aspect, particularly being able to attend Mass at the beautiful little chapel there.

Overall Experience
My mother chose St. Augustines Care Home in Addlestone because it is Catholic Residential Home run by the sisters, residents are able to attend mass twice a week and she has attended Sunday mass at the chapel previously.
We met with the care home manager who gave a very honest review of the home, the improvements that enabled St. Augustines to have a good CQC rating and she showed us around the premises and facilities.
My mum after residing at the home for almost a year has settled really well and feels that it is her home with her own space when she wants privacy. The sisters and carers are really kind and ensure that my mum is well fed, cared for and can attend mass and medical appointments.

Being at the care home had enabled me and my siblings to feel peaceful that my mum is being well cared for and that mum is happy, has made some friends and feels that she is at home.

Mum arrived at Footherley Hall straight from hospital after a fall. Since arriving the care she has received is just beyond wonderful. From the very first bubble bath I have been so impressed with how they have nurtured Mum.
