The care, love and support my mum received from the start of the care to her final hours was second to none. The compassion and empathy was amazing with all staff going above and beyond. The home has a wonderful inclusive family atmosphere and can not be faulted on any level. The support and kindness
shown to us, her daughters meant a lot. Thank you.

Family always re-assured about Mum's care, always friendly and accommodating to Mum's needs. Mum always seems happy, well cared for. Room is always kept very clean and laundry is done regularly to a high standard. Staff are always on hand to answer any concerns. Always re-assured that Mum is given
plenty of time with the staff for a friendly chat. Hardest thing we did as a family was to put Mum in care, but definitely right choice.

My mum came to Linden Grange nearly 4 years ago after having falls at home. As she now has dementia she needs lots of care but I am satisfied that all her needs are met. The home is clean and carers are always friendly. COVID has been a testing time for everyone, but the manager has taken it in her
stride and all have worked very hard to keep it out.

My Mum has been a permanent resident at Linden Grange for over a year and I am very happy with the care that she is receiving. Linden Grange is a modern environment with comfortable rooms, good food and well-organised activities. Prior to the Covid-19 pandemic, I was able to visit Mum whenever I wanted
and I was always made to feel very welcome by the staff. I have been able to stay in touch with Mum this year via FaceTime or WhatsApp and I am very grateful to the staff who have facilitated this. I am sure that this year has been a very difficult one for all care homes with all the extra work involved in maintaining covid security but Linden Grange have handled it admirably and I feel secure in the knowledge that Mum is safe and happy at Linden Grange.

My father was a resident at Linden Grange care home and I can not praise all the staff and management enough. They went above and beyond for my father's care and he was treated with utmost respect and dignity and care from the day he arrived to the day he passed. I personally found the decision to place
my father into a care home very difficult but I should not have worried as he was still his cheeky self until the end and that is down to the care and love he was given from day one. We could visit dad as many times a day as we needed to and we were always welcomed with open arms - until covid hit and then the staff found ways around for us to see my father by not breaking protocols and we had visits through the glass in his bedroom window. Even though we could not touch we could still laugh and talk and that gave both dad and us great comfort.

I cannot praise Linden Grange enough. My granma lived here for over 4 years and received good care, we were welcomed in at any time and nothing was too much trouble. At the end stages, the staff supported my granma and my family with dignity and respect. It's a lovely modern home with outstanding facilities
and I cannot thank all the staff enough for all their care and support, I'm not sure I would have got through some of the stages of my granma's illness without them. I have experience in dementia but when it's family it's so difficult and the staff just made it a little easier. I'm eternally grateful and I'm sure my granma would be too.

My nan has lived at Linden Grange for approx 6 months now following a fractured hip and several hospital admissions whilst in her own home. Coming to terms with the fact that nan needed full-time care was traumatic for our family as she has lived in her house for many years and we didn't want her to
be upset by having to move. Watching nan settle into life at Linden Grange has made the process a lot easier and she now reports she would rather stay there than go home. The building is clean, comfortable and homely and (most importantly) the staff treat nan with kindness and respect. They have lovely lounges, a hairdressers and a small kitchen area where you can make a cup of tea or sit with your loved one when you visit. I would 100% recommend Linden Grange to anyone looking for care for themselves or a loved one.

Warm, caring, clean, considerate and happy is how I describe my father's new home. He is treated with the respect and kindness that gives me comfort and reassurance that, not only his welfare is cared for, but his dignity. The home goes over and beyond in assuring a happy, friendly atmosphere is maintained.
This is led from the top to the bottom, every member of the team appears to believe they are part of a family, and this means my father is also treated as their family.

I can't thank Linden Grange enough for their care to my Mum, fantastic! They treat her kindly and with great dignity. This year has been so emotional with the rapid deterioration of my Mum's physical and mental capacity, but they have made her so happy, and we as a family, are so grateful to them all.
Thank you, Linden Grange.

My aunt has now been at Linden Grange for nearly two years. I have written a positive review before, earlier on in her residency.
I did not know about the value for money aspect before, however, having spoken to those with power of attorney finance, I now understand it is very good.
In addition,
my aunt is thriving at Linden Grange and is in much, much, better health than on admission (due to the good food and holistic care (physical and emotional).
The staff, led by the managers, have really tried to understand her character, history and interests (as well as fears of vulnerability for example) and used that knowledge to reassure her and engage her.

Current Review Score: 10.0 (9.982)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 10 (9.982) out of 10 for Linden Grange is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 5.0 out of 5 from 28 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 5.0 out of 5 from 28 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.982 for Linden Grange is calculated as follows: ( (330 Excellents x 5) + (6 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 336 Ratings = 4.982
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 5 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Linden Grange is based on 28 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 4
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 35 registered maximum number of service users is 7, which has been reached with 28 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
