The Hollies

The Hollies has been life changing for my family member, who wasn't receiving good care previously. Since her stay there she has flourished, she is healthier, happier and looked after around the clock. She had made many friends also, which she never had before. It is a really well equipped place, the staff are always friendly and accommodating.

Attended for my auntys birthday in May. Excellent party and wonderful staff that do a great job! We live in Leicester so it's hard to visit as often as we would like but we know our aunty is well cared for xxx

Quite often, people are out on trips for shopping or one to one treats, and there always seems to be something happening.

I find the manager and staff approachable. They have a regular programme of activities and trips for the residents. I feel happy that my sister is living in a safe environment and is well cared for.

My son has been in and out of care for over 20 years finally residing at The Hollies. I cannot thank the manager and her team enough for the care and support they have shown my son during the time he has been with them. Their patience and understanding is exemplary. I am so grateful that my son has a home where he is watched over, it gives me such peace of mind knowing he is safe after the terrible time I had trying to monitor his medication and behaviour without success. When I call to enquire about my son I am always met with both courtesy and empathy whilst discussing his mental health issues, I feel at ease talking to them. I would recommend The Hollies to anyone wanting to ensure a safe, friendly place for their family member.

We are grateful to the home for the exceptional care and understanding shown to my sister over the years she was at The Hollies and especially at the end of her life. The home always gives a family feel. The staff go the extra mile. We will always be grateful for all they did.

Have good contacts with staff who keep me well informed and are easy to talk to. Have contact with my daughter now and looking forward to seeing her more often after a few health issues on my part in the past. Couple of years. Always know she is safe at The Hollies and I will be informed on various issues that arise straight away.

The whole ethos is one of a happy place with excellent care, support and encouragement.

The home is nicely run by staff manager and the place is kept clean and you can come and go as you please for walks out just tell them where you're going because of fire safety and it's very good.

Sometimes I feel too clever and usually I am a plain old intellectual. I think that this happens because it is so hectic here at times. I do understand though. I do not think that anything can change but there is hope.

I think the staff are great.

Absolutely can't fault the care and service they offer at the Hollies. My mum is happy, settled and well looked after. Lovely and clean with fresh meals provided every day and lots of activities for the residents.

Lovely place. The staff are very attentive and caring. The home is very relaxing and calming.

A friendly home with caring staff. My husband and myself were made to feel welcome. A member of staff made us drinks which were welcomed after our journey to the home. A lovely home in nice surroundings.

I can only talk of what I see and I am told. Overall it seems a nice environment to live in.
