My sister is settling in really well here, she's on respite at this moment in time but hoping to keep her in here, the staff are amazing and very friendly and nothing to much trouble, my sister was living with our mum, but mum passed recently and so my sister could no longer stay at mums address she
was diagnosed with Meduim/Advanced Alzheimer's disease and certainly she needs 24/7 care at the sad age of 59 years, I Live Lincoln area but I am prepared to travel to see my sister, as it's a very nice care home, and proper cooked Food, a lady who works here is incredibly helpful, a must if you want reassurance I recommend Manorfields Care Home

Under difficult circumstances, I have nothing but praise and thanks to all the staff for their overall care of my wife. The care home is very well organised and clean. My wife has been a resident since July 2020. Due to COVID restrictions, I cannot provide ratings for all areas because I have not seen.

My mum and auntie are both residents. They've both settled in well. I have been able to visit more recently and this has gone very well. Staff are very good and the home seems to be well run. It's very difficult for everyone at present with all the restrictions but I feel confident that my mum and auntie
are being cared for well and I'm kept informed and updated. It's very reassuring.

Mum came into Manorfields for respite care originally but has ended up staying permanently. The staff were very good with her and encouraged us to call regularly for updates on her progress. It's difficult with current restrictions, but Mum seems happy, well cared for and settled. The staff are lovely,
always very friendly and approachable and very good with Mum.

Staff keep me informed on any changes. Dad always seems ok. Staff are very friendly and easy to talk to.
My only problem is when you ask about certain things, you don't always get an answer or reply, otherwise, all very good.
A difficult year for everyone under the circumstances. well done to everyone
and thanks.

Ever since day one my son has at all times been treated with dignity and respect. From what I have witnessed all of his needs and catered for. They have endless patience even when at one-time my son threw his dinner at his carer she calmly carried on as normal. Where they get their endless patience
for is beyond me. The entire staff are wonderful and dedicated people and apart from pay each and every one of them deserves a medal.

The staff are brilliant. They spend time talking to residents; as individuals with a past, a story to tell, with likes and dislikes. It's a good atmosphere - the staff have a laugh and a sing-song with residents. It's lovely. My Dad is happy here, good food, always someone to talk to or help, a choice
of places to sit, nice garden. It's been a positive move for Dad and our family.

My mother came to Manorfields in May of 2018 and myself and my family are very happy with the care and support we receive from the staff. Clothes sometimes go missing and that is to be expected, with 38 residents. Generally Mum is looking well and we are happy.

Current Review Score: 7.7 (7.708)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 7.7 (7.708) out of 10 for Manorfields is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.6 out of 5 from 1 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 3.1 out of 5 from 1 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.583 for Manorfields is calculated as follows: ( (7 Excellents x 5) + (5 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 12 Ratings = 4.583
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 3.125 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Manorfields is based on 1 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 = 3
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 40 registered maximum number of service users is 8. 1 Positive Reviews ÷ 8 = 0.125
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
