Hi, I’m Lisa and I have been the Home Manager at The Chestnuts since June 2021. I have over 25 years’ experience in the care sector, supporting people with learning disabilities, mental health needs and nursing requirements across a variety of settings.
I began my career in care in 2006 as a Care Assistant and worked my way through a number of roles, becoming a Registered Manager in 2009. Much of my earlier career was spent within the elderly care sector, managing both residential and nursing homes, where I developed a strong foundation in delivering high-quality care.
I joined The Chestnuts in 2017 as Deputy Manager and was later promoted to Home Manager in 2021. Since joining, I have developed a real passion for supporting adults with learning disabilities and enhancing the lives of the people who live here.
I am committed to ensuring our residents are supported to develop independence, build confidence and enjoy fulfilling daily lives through meaningful activities and community engagement. I am equally passionate about supporting the team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
I am proud to lead a dedicated team that shares the same commitment to creating a safe, supportive and welcoming environment for everyone who lives at The Chestnuts.
