When I visit, the staff are always accommodating and provide me with refreshments. The support my brother receives from staff gives me comfort knowing he is being looked after in a more than adequate way. Also, I am supported and reassured by them when my brother is upset or distressed. There is a generally
good atmosphere and never feel unwelcome.

Layden Court Care Home

From the time my husband went into Layden Court, he was made to feel like he was home and not in care home. They soon learnt his likes and dislikes. Treated him like an adult, not a child, and he could make up his own mind.
He laughed, smiled and became family with those their through their genourosity
and help with the daily things my husband could no longer do independently, such as they made sure he was washed, shaved, properly groomed and has his hair cut. His food looked delicious, in fact this made us want to eat there. Puddings were always his favourite. Access was always welcome.
They also helped me with any concerns, like when I felt like he needed to see a doctor. In his final days we were informed of any medical care that was prescribed. When he passed, the phones were not working so one of the many kind nurses who cared for my husband used her own phone to ensure that I was informed as soon as possible. Can't thank them enough.

I have no concerns about my sisters care her room is always clean and tidy, her laundry always clean and neat in her drawers, she

Mum was placed in the care home at the end of April after 3 weeks in hospital following a stroke. much in ages. She seems very content and I am relaxed knowing she is looked after so well. Thank you to all the staff involved with her care.

My mother was a resident for 3 years. During the time she was at Kingsthorpe View she was very well cared for by the carers, some of them excelled in the care given to Mum, they looked upon us as family. She passed away last month but during her end-of-life days, the comfort and care we received, from

Firstly, I would like to thank all the staff for making the VE Day celebrations so special for both the residents and relatives. The decorations, afternoon tea and staff involvement made it so memorable.
From the first day my husband went into Hazelford, every effort has been made to get to know him
and his needs by the manager and all his staff, which has made Hazelford feel like his home.
They also appreciate how difficult the decision is to place a loved one into care. They are always so approachable and reassuring, and the kindness and support have been invaluable.
We will always be grateful to the manager and his dedicated staff for looking after my husband and for welcoming and involving the family. We have never been able to find the care and compassion any other than 'above and beyond', thank you.

Elm Lodge Care Home

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
From first contacting the care home, the manager who had recently been in post was excellent. She reassured us and was very supportive, as she knew we were worried, as we were going away for Easter. I would give the manager 10/10 for the support she gave. My mother-in-law was very well cared for and
enjoyed participating in the activities. We were telephoned on our first day away and reassured that my mother-in-law was okay. This meant so much to us as we were going to contact that same evening. The manager was knowledgeable regarding Dementia/Alzheimer's, again, this helped. Thank you to all who cared for my mother-in-law and allowed us to get away.
