Mum was well looked after. She enjoyed joining in the wonderful activities & really liked the food served to her. The home also welcomed all mums family from her own 4 children & grandchildren & 16 great grandchildren. Mum celebrated her 96 birthday in style.

From the day my mum arrived at St Michael's she was made to feel very welcome. We choose her a downstairs room with private toilet facility. The room overlooked a pleasant garden with French doors opening onto a patio. There is a large lounge and a small more private lounge where you sit with your loved ones over tea or coffee. Our experience of this nursing home was a very caring homely place. Excellent staff and very attentive nothing was too much trouble. All staff were very approachable and welcoming at all times.

All the staff appeared to be happy and it was well run by the deputy manager who always gave a good greeting. (And hugs)

The care + support provided by all staff is exceptional there is a good mix of activities available + participation is good. The kitchen staff are excellent + I enjoy the freedom of being able to make my own hot drinks + quick snacks. It is clear that all staff take safety + security very seriously which leads to residents feeling safe. My room is now set up just how I want it and I enjoy spending time in it with family + friends.

It's also reassuring that the patients' shared living areas and individual rooms are pleasantly and appropriately decorated and kept to a high standard of cleanliness.

We were very happy with the whole process and will use St Michael's again.

I cannot fault anything about tynefield court my mum has settled in very well and is very well looked after she asks for a cup of tea and she has it within minutes. There are always plenty of carers about to look after the residents. The carers all know their jobs and what they are doing. It is very clean and tidy mums room is spotless. The manager and her team are on top of everything and certainly know what they are doing. Mum has 3 meals a day and the food is excellent all done fresh on site. I would highly recomend Tynefield to anyone who is looking for a care home for their loved ones.Thank you very much from the bottom of my heart for everything you do for my mum.

Staff very friendly and caring. Home clean and tidy. "No smells". Bedroom clean, tidy and cosy.

My grandad has settled in really well. Staff have got to know him quickly and are very reassuring helping him to settle. They are very welcoming and provide good communication. Grandad is a fussy eater, but hasn't once complained about the food.

My father came into Gresley House straigt from hospital. We have been very happy with the care he has been given and he has settled in really well. The room is very homely and very clean. I know my father is very happy her and very safe.

my uncle has been in Ravensworth for around two and a half years he has always been well looked after the staff all seem very diligent and caring and he seems to be happy in this care home. I feel happy that he is there and I know he is safe

The staff remain diligent in their care of mum as well as all the residents, and are always friendly and attentive to residents and guests alike. The recent reconfiguration of dining rooms/lounges seems to be working well.

Staff are caring and friendly. The needs of residents are well met and family members feel welcome and able to discuss any issues that arise. Events and activities provided by relevant staff are varied and appreciated. Extra staffing and support for activities would be beneficial. Changes to decor, routines and facilities indicate a clear desire to improve the environment for residents. Staff provide a good support for family members through their positivity and welcome.

I think Moe is a great man and very caring to all in the home. Elm Lodge staff are also very good and attention to care is good. All in all satisfaction.

My mum was admitted to St Michaels following the unexpected death of my dad. Mum only managed ten days on her own but the care and support shown by all staff was wonderful. Everyone at St Michaels was helpful friendly and gave support when needed- thank you.

The staff at this home are friendly and welcoming. No smell of urine or cabbage! Lara and team liaise with us. Our relative has blossomed in their care. She is antisocial, and they respect her wishes not to participate in activities/dining area. The rooms are bright and cheerful, food is lovely. I asked for the room to be changed around, and it was done the next morning. My mum is happy here now after a settling and adjustment period.

There is a lovely homely atmosphere at St Michaels. This has evolved with a caring, empathetic manager who started a few months ago. Her small dog is also on site and brings a lot of pleasure to residents and visitors, a definite asset to the environment. Along with the friendly, caring and competent staff. The manager has created a safe, comfortable and friendly care environment. Any issues relating to dads care are swiftly and appropriately dealt with, with dad's best interests at the forefront.

Everything was thoroughly explained to me so was easy to understand.
