Care Homes Owned by Oak Tree Care Group in Nottinghamshire

My dad who had Alzheimer's was a resident from December 2025 until he recently passed away. The care home offers lots of events for residents and their families and the staff are all very friendly. My only criticism would be laundry, sometimes dad's clothing would go missing and he would sometimes be given other people's. However, we were happy with his care. I can't thank staff enough for the care they gave to him, especially in the final weeks of his life. They cared for him as if he was family and this meant so much.

I am really happy with how dad has settled into his home. He had a couple of falls in April and had to go to hospital to be checked.but thankfully he was fine and came back to his home he was happy to see the regular staff. His bedroom always smell clean and fresh. He enjoys his home cooked meals. The staff are very Caring, Karl maintains a great feeling in the home with his activities and kindness. I feel I could ask Carly anything about dads Care and well being. The nurses are very good and supportive. I hope It will always be this way.

Red Oaks help ensure that all of the residents have their own independence and provide a good range of activities, that provide regular enrichment for all residents. All residents are treated with dignity and respect consistently by staff, who ensure that everybody feels welcome.

Red Oaks ensures everything they do gives residents independence. They also have a brilliant activities coordinator who organises regular enrichment for residents. This varies in what they receive. All opportunities are shared equally. All residents are treated with dignity and respect by all staff, who go above and beyond to be kind to not only residents but to visitors. These amazing people make everyone welcome in the home.

My mother-in-law was moved to Red Oaks on end-of-life care in the middle of May straight from hospital. Upon her entry to the home, I noticed a pleasant smell, clean paintwork, carpets and rooms. I visited the following day at lunchtime to see her, her meal both looked and smelled delicious. My mother-in-law also appeared to be happy despite her level of dementia. The staff were caring and attentive of all the other residents. The manager 'Carly was polite, professional and knowledgeable of my mother-in-law's needs. Nursing staff also professional.

Thank you to all the staff for looking after my husband in such a phenomenal way. Nothing has ever been too much trouble and the staff are the most caring and thoughtful people. I have made friends and close bonds with both staff and residents and I have so many amazing memories that have been created at The Troc.

As a family, we had hundred percent trust in Dad's Care whilst he was at Hazelford .

Initially booked Dad in for respite as I was going away for a couple of weeks. But as he was getting too hard to handle at home with his vascular dementia, I booked him in a few weeks earlier. I visit most days, and to the credit of the staff there, he has never asked to come home. He looks well looked after, and his needs are met. Everyone there is pleasant and helpful, and nothing is too much. I would highly recommend the Troc to anyone that requires such services.

The home is always clean and tidy, and nothing is ever too much trouble for the team. I would highly recommend them.

My husband is happy at Hazelford. That is thanks to manager Shaun and his team. He has advanced dementia so a new environment was not easy. Shaun and his great team have given him more confidence and love in practical ways. Shaun's total honesty is a great help to understanding our situation too.

My dad was in Hazelford for respite care, when he had to be rushed to hospital. The care for him and my mum was exceptional, for exceeding my expectations. My dad is now back at Hazelford, everything is stacked against him for being happy and content and yet he is - I can only put that down to exceptional understanding of my dad and exceptional care he is getting. The manager, Shaun, has been very very supportive of the whole family, nothing is too much trouble to make things nice for dad + I think that shows in dads contentment.

My mother has been at Strawberry Fields for over a year now and has always been looked after very well and is well settled. The staff in particular deserve praise for their kind and caring demeanor.

Managers go above and beyond to make this a lovely place for people to live.

Dad seems happy and well looked after. Gives us peace of mind as a family.

I always ask for me to go to Troc when my husband and daughter go on my husband restbite break. It is a lovely place we are all looked after the food is lovely and plenty of it. I usually stay in my room because I like to read but someone always about if I require them.
