Holmleigh is a high-quality care home with deceptively modern facilities. It is in a rural location just outside Navenby with glorious far-reaching views of the surrounding countryside from many of the well-appointed rooms, all of them being en-suite.

Originally a substantial detached property in a large garden, Holmleigh has been considerably extended with three additional single storey wings at the rear. There are several lounges, two spacious dining rooms and a...

I was most impressed with the friendliness on my initial visit to look at Holmleigh care home. Therefore, I booked in for two weeks stay after recovering from a total knee replacement – and the friendliness continued – full marks!

The food department, whilst all most friendly, went above and beyond and catered for all my needs in my room, altering meal times to suit my requirements, producing delicious sandwiches at lunch time and my cooked meal later in the evening. Whilst I didn’t join in any activities, the lady who did that assisted me latterly accompanying me walk around the building outside. All fantastic and I would thoroughly recommend

My mother has been a resident of Holmleigh for the last six years. Everything about the home, care and staff is amazing. All of the carers are so kind, patient and friendly. Even when a resident is being uncooperative there are no raised angry voices, just calm and gentle persuasion. Lots of events, activities and entertainment to keep residents amused. Food always top quality and beautifully prepared. We have had a few meals there with my mother and it's always good, wholesome fare. Holmleigh was recommended to us over a couple of other local homes by my mother's doctor who's practice covered Holmleigh. Since then his own mother has become a resident. Having visited a number of local care homes over the years it's my opinion that Holmeleigh is head and shoulders above the rest.

The care home had a welcoming environment was clear the staff were attentive and friendly. Food was excellent and the activities were stimulating. My mother felt safe and enjoyed her time at the care home, so much so that she said Holmleigh would be her care home of choice if she ever had to move to one on a permanent basis.

My mother moved to Holmleigh for palliative care. The whole team were sensitive and caring in meeting her needs. There was an attention to detail and standards that gave my mother confidence in her health and care needs being met to a high standard.

The manager and staff at Holmleigh Care Home have provided excellent care and support whilst my dad was at the care home. Even up to the time of his passing, they were absolutely amazing including the night duty manager whom I only met twice had all been very supportive, informative and simply very caring up to the end. I would happily recommend this care home.

My 90-year-old Mother was finding it increasingly difficult living alone in the home she had been in for 53 years. She moved to Holmleigh and was initially very homesick. That was 5 weeks ago. Now she wouldn't want to be anywhere else. It's impossible to single out any member of staff to commend as they are all wonderful. Mum can't fault the way she is being cared for and neither can we. Not all care homes feel like home. Not all care homes care. Holmleigh scores on both. Mum has made new friends of both the staff and residents and is constantly telling us how well she is being looked after and that nothing is too much trouble. The way that any minor issues are communicated to me by the staff give me complete peace of mind that Mum is OK. If you are reading this you probably have some difficult decisions to make. Choosing Holmleigh will be the right answer to one of them.

My mother is very happy at Holmleigh and often says that if she needs to be in a care home she is happy to be in Holmleigh.
The care is excellent and all her immediate and long-term needs are attended to.
She does say that her room is small but it is adequate.

The main issue is that she is safe and feels well looked after.

My mother in law has been in the home for 2 years. The experience I have had has been fantastic. From the manager down to the odd job man, nothing is too much trouble. When she's been unwell, they go above and beyond their duties. It is well clean, the food choice is excellent with plenty of choice.
