The fee includes:-
Full board with a choice of meals, snacks and drinks (we cater for specialised dietary requirements by arrangement).
Exclusive occupation of your room
Use of the communal lounges, dining rooms, bathrooms, and any other communal facilities
The opportunity to join in activities run by the Home and the use of any recreational facilities (you may be asked to make a financial contribution to some group activities or trips out).
Care assistance – such as with bathing, washing, medication and other personal needs - as reasonably required. Staff will be on duty both day and night.
A laundry service (not including dry cleaning).
Active involvement in your medical care by way of liaison with GP’s, nurses, dentists, and other health care providers (although some may incur an extra cost to yourself).
Our fees do not include:-
Clothing
Magazines / newspapers (save for those to be found in the communal areas)
Toiletries or other personal grooming items
Hairdressing
Medications
Health care appointments such as Chiropody or opticians
Travel costs for private trips
Private telephone costs

Visitors warmly welcomed. Relatives can visit their loved ones at any time, and there's no need to book in advance for these personal visits. However, if you're interested in touring the home and learning more about services, Ridgeway recommends scheduling a visit in advance. This way, the dedicated team can ensure they're available to show you around and discuss how best to meet your specific needs. Our dedicated team work together to provide care and support for residents and their families - as you have said it was 'daunting' - and to help the transition from their home to our home as simple and pleasant as we can.

Ridgeway has three lounge areas, and residents are able to choose the space they prefer to spend time in, whether this is close to staff, in the television lounge or in the quieter blue room. We take pride in making sure that we fully understand each individual and are able to provide care that is based upon their wishes and needs, and are pleased that this is so evident within the home.
