Mum is really happy in this care home. Staff are very good with the residents and friendly to visitors. The room and common areas all smell clean and fresh, mum's personal care is good and mum enjoys the food provided. We checked out care homes in our area before placing mum here, and we're happy that
we have made the right choice and that mum is being well cared for.

My mum has settled into life at Ditton Priors Care Centre so much easier than I ever thought possible. This is due to the lovely kind caring staff. She always looks clean and tidy as does her room. The food always looks and smells great as well. The staff are always quick to relay any changes in Mum's
condition. I couldn't be happier with Mum's care.

All the staff really care about the residents in this home, going above and beyond at times and everyone is treated with love and respect. They are well looked after and engage in many different daily activities and day trips. Gardening, baking, bingo, quizzes, dancing, singing, reading, children and
animals visiting, to name a few. They even have a hairdresser and are treated to beauty treatments. It is clean with no foul odour that some other homes have. The families of residents are kept up to date with any needs or requirements and can visit any time or take residents out. It's nice they use social media to show them enjoying their activities.
Sometimes the staff can be a little stretched, meaning some things with hygeine, clothing ect can go unnoticed and buzzers are sounding a while before being answered. Despite that the residents are happy, well fed, bathed regular and treated as individuals. I wouldn't hesitate to place another family member in there if needed.

Over the moon with staff, management, facilities. Mother in law has settled very quickly and has actually made friends in the first couple of days making her not feel at all lonely Her appetite has improved too which is great news to us all, she looks forward to meal times now. Knowing she is not alone
at night is a huge relief. Thank you to all involved.

Staff are excellent in caring for residents. Good range of activities on offer. Would benefit from having transport to take residents out on trips instead of using local bus facilities. Rooms are clean and well equipped, some areas i.e lounge could do with being updated, and would be good if some security
for other residents entering rooms was put in place.

I would like to take this opportunity on behalf of myself and my family to thank the Maple Care home in stockton-on-Tees for looking after my mam for the last 7 years, it's a place she called home. The love, affection and caring she received from all the staff was second to none. The last months were
very tough for me and the family the staff were there for us all the way.
The sincerity, caring, and dignity they have shown over the last weeks whilst my mother was on end of life care has been amazing , we have now seen what true care is all about, we cannot thank you enough.
Reply from Joanne Fisher, Home Manager at The Maple Care Home

I'm a resident at moment hopping to move and waiting on the council who recommended home . I've only been in another home for respite but this completely different absolutely terrible. When still at home I had a carers four times a day who where fantastic this I thought would be less stress for my parents
service is terrible when at the other home, they took my picture and it was used on the cover of there brochure what a difference, I don't ask for anything and in bed all day still basic service from brushing my teeth I DO NOT RECOMMEND HOME.

My mum moved to Canwick Court in May. It is very friendly, the staff are very helpful especially one in particular. The food is wonderful and they are very patient with mum who does get confused. Her room is lovely and big and she has her own curtains up which makes her feel at home.
