My wife Glennis came into cathedral view for respite for two weeks and ended up been there five weeks and the care she had while there she had excellent care up until I took her home to die which is what she wanted

We cannot thank the care home and all the staff enough for the wonderful care and support they have given my dad. From day one, they have been caring, compassionate and understanding, always taking the time to meet his individual needs. With their dedication and support, Dad's health and wellbeing have improved so much that he is now able to return to independent living, which is something we never thought possible when he first arrived. The whole team have gone above and beyond, treating Dad with dignity, kindness and genuine care. We will always be incredibly grateful for everything they have done for him and for our family. Thank you all so much.

During my sister's stay care always been well cared for. Responds timely all problems resolved.

Absolutely wonderful place for mum to be in. The staff are brilliant and so reassuring after so much apprehension about mum having to go into respite. Quite a few staff have been working here years which tells you what a settled place it is to work. Mum loves it, & we as a family are happy for her to live here safe and sound.

All the staff are lovely and approachable and care for his needs with compassion and dignity.

My brother G has resided at The Grange for one month. He is settling really well. I am concerned that they are under staffed. It took 3 weeks for G to get his 'security' safety watch. On the whole he is treated well & well cared for. It will be lovely when an activities person is appointed, so that the residents have opportunity to be social & enjoy 'new' experiences.

Absolutely terrible service I've complained several times doesn't make a difference hopefully moving next month. I've asked for help 5 times today still waiting.I moved back from another care home as original placement in home was excellent and I had connection to Dunfermline but staff have changed. I DO NOT RECOMMEND AVOID HOME!!!

The Maple is an amazing home for my dad. He really enjoys it here the staff are really good with him.

We placed my uncle into Lennel House in October 2025 following concerns at home. He is loving life, he gets on with all the staff so well and his care needs are met with dignity and respect. Since admission he has been moved to a room with an ensuite which is so much better for him. All in all, brill staff and management

My 92 year old mam is a new resident at Chilton Care Home its not easy for families to trust the care of a loved one to some one else and it is an anxious time for the resident and their family however I feel happy that Mams needs are met, she is safe and well cared for 24 hours a day and is setteling in very well. The home is well run, the manager Maxine Smith and her team are approchable understanding and caring. I feel Mam will be very happy there.

Lennel is brilliant, from the staff to the atmosphere and service. They have taken my uncle George in and treat him as their own. the senior careers in particular are exceptional they go above and beyond to take care of George. Lovely clean location aswell

When we first came to the home, we were surprised how all the staff were so nice and we were relaxed. We stayed 5 weeks at the home and the wife was in for five weeks and she was well looked after always by all the staff and we will come again and tell people how good the home is and how good the staff are.

My Mam has been a resident five and a half years. Super care home and super staff. Quality and care of my Mam is incredible. I trust the staff 100% and I'm always kept informed of what's happening at the home.

The job is hard and often unglamorous, but the staff are, and have been, brilliant and we cannot thank them enough for the care they have given Mum.

My father was cared for at Ridgeway and recently passed away peacefully. All staff were exceptionally kind, attentive, always going above and beyond ensuring we were all looked after as a whole family. Their interpersonal skills, while remaining professional, provided confidence and comfort. We are very grateful and would like to thank everyone for the laughter, kindness and support.

All staff within Cathedral Care Home were excellent whilst my husband was in their care. Although he was only there for a relatively short time frame, he was welcomed into the family atmosphere by all management, nursing and other staff within the facility, who accommodated his needs, and gave him the care and dignity he required. This care, help and guidance was also extended to myself and our daughter whilst visiting. I would highly recommend Cathedral Care Home.
