  • Barrow Hall Care Centre, Barrow-upon-Humber
Barrow Hall Care Centre offers specialised nursing care for adults with a range of mental health problems and varying degrees of challenging behaviour.

The Mews apartments provide a further 10 single, close care apartments with bedroom, living room, shower room and kitchenette for those with a good degree of independence.

Everyone has their own named key nurse or key worker who works closely with them, their family and friends to develop a personalised care plan, which is continually evaluated and reviewed.

As well as community activities, residents are encouraged to take part in hobbies and pastimes including games, walks, musical activities and sing-alongs.

All of the food is locally sourced to ensure ingredients are always fresh and within season. The chef and cooks create all fish dishes, using fresh fish that has been ethically sourced.

I would highly recommend this home. I find my son is very well looked after and treated very well even though he can be very aggressive at times. I am always made to feel very welcome and when I visit the staff are all so kind.
