Knowesouth Nursing Home is situated close to the Scottish Borders town of Jedburgh and is dedicated to the specialist care of older people with dementia. The country house has 9 beds and is surrounded by mature parkland and gardens. A further 35 beds are located in Oakview, which is an extension to the main house, providing modern and well-equipped bedrooms.

The therapeutic approach of care at Knowesouth is achieved through the close working relationships between care and nursing staff at the home together with community psychiatric nurses, local GPs and the dedicated geriatric care team at the Borders General Hospital and Borders Specialist Dementia Unit.

The home prides itself on strong relationships with families and friends of the residents and welcome visitors daily.

Residents are encouraged to take part in a range of hobbies and pastimes arranged by the dedicated activities co-ordinator who plans a varied programme everyday.
