An excellent care facility, the staff are very professional.

The job is hard and often unglamorous, but the staff are, and have been, brilliant and we cannot thank them enough for the care they have given Mum.

Mum is thriving and a lot fitter than at home in a safe environment.

Mam is enjoying her stay so far and her health have improved 100%

The care that my mother in law is second to none. She is thriving putting on weight and is more socially active. She is eating the food that the carers know has been prescribed by the dietician. We are always made to feel welcome

Visited my mother-in-law today she looked very comfortable sat with other residents in the main lounge area, we were welcomed by the staff who when asked by us if Mum was OK responded by reassuring us that she had a comfortable night and was doing well she also told us where she was and asked if we would like a drink. We stayed with Mum until lunchtime and during the time we sat with her the staff interacted with us and the other residents in a pleasant and respectable way we always go home feeling comfortable leaving our Mum in there care .

As a daughter of a resident in the Chestnuts in Grimsby I am very happy with the standard of care my mother receives.The staff are excellent and nothing is too much trouble,they also make us visitors feel at home too all residents are treated with respect and dignity.although my mum has one of the smaller rooms she is happy and settled in it.management are also very helpful if we have a problem they go above and beyond to fix it.finally I would like to express my concerns about making the activity room into another bedroom as this only leaves the lounge for everyone to sit in and it's just not big enough also there is nowhere to do any activities it's is in my opinion the wrong thing to do as it's only going to be the residence that suffer ,it is out of the hands of the Chestnuts's management and goes much higher,I hope this can be solved.

Nothing is too much trouble to make my mum happy.

The experience since my husband moved in has been brilliant in every way, he appears to be so happy and connected in him staff. He is interacting more and understanding more he's putting weight on because he is eating more. The staff are very good with him to the point I have no worries about him at all at the moment.

My husband has only been here for a short while but am more than happy with the care he is receving and facility provided. He has settled in well and the staff are dealing with his needs on a daily basis, always carers around to speak to and kept informed on how he has been.

Absolutely amazing staff could not do more for us. Ravendale Hall has the most lovely warm family feeling and makes you feel so comfortable straight away. The way my Dad was treated was above and beyond, can never repay how he was kept pain free and comfortable and passed away so peaceful and with the upmost dignity. From the bottom of my heart, Thank you to everyone at Ravendale Hall for looking after my Dad.

The manager there couldn't do enough, she really did help the entire family, making calls, aiding with support, guiding the process and navigating such a trying situation. Thank you!

My husband is not a resident, he goes in for day care. He can be very difficult at times but the staff and manager handle him with patience, care and dignity. We tried three other facilities and they were unable to deal with him, so this is great help to me to give me time to myself. I am extremely grateful for the support they give me as well as my husband.

My sister has been treated very well since she has lived here. The home is beautiful and clean. Always something going on, but she chooses not to join in. There is window bird feeders in the living room and loves to watch the birds and squirrels in the garden.

My mum has been with Chestnuts for over a year and I appreciate the care that she receives. Due to distance, I am only able to visit once a week but I always feel reassured that my mum's needs are taken care of and that she is treated with respect and dignity. The care staff are lovely and knowledgeable on all aspects of their resident's care. I am always able to ring for any updates, the staff are quick to inform me of any changes as well. Thank you.

Staff and management can't do enough for my partner. Food and facilities are excellent, very clean and tidy.

I am very happy with the care at Ravendale Hall. It is a lovely homely environment, very welcoming and friendly. Communication with family could be improved by a regular emailed report on health and welfare, also with clearer notification of events e.g a regular newsletter would be beneficial.

I can not express how grateful I am for all the care I have received, how much all the staff have gone above and beyond required. I can not thank you all so much.

Ravendale Hall is perfect for my Dad its surroundings are very much like my dad is used to and it's small and very much like a family because of this. My dad is living with dementia and my mum has got to the point of not being able to cope after years of managing alone, with just occasional help from the rest of the family. The staff here are magnificent to and very good to dad.
