Short of staff Sunday morning, need more staff. Sunday dinner not enough meat, had to have fish as there wasn't any meat left. Agency staff on Sunday was very good.
Excellent Care Home, both short and long term needs
My mum was staying here for just over 4 months and during this time the staff really looked after her, taking into account all her needs and went out of their way to make her comfortable.
There is always plenty of members of staff on duty, and the home was clean throughout and felt safe at all times.
They encourage users to take part in events, but as my mum is very independent, they accepted this, and accommodated for her needs.
The food was always well prepared and cooked, and the staff made me and family very welcome.
Thank you all, you made my mums stay very welcoming.
Thankyou for such lovely feedback, it has been a pleasure looking after Mum and she will be very missed by all.I will ensure this feedback is passed over to the Team.
The staff are wonderful and spend time with all the residents which helps when I am leaving my Mum to come back up to Scotland
Thank you for your feedback, I will ensure that this is passed onto the staff.
He could go home with a care package since his health has improved but he is firm on staying and having company 24:7 - and that speaks volumes massively, for a man who has always said he would haunt us all, if he ever ended up in a care home.
Management are always welcoming and very visible around the home. They have a natural caring nature and you can see they love every single resident, it's very clear that they won't stand for anything less than an excellent service.
My uncle says it's like a 5* holiday home.
The food is exceptional and very tasty, he's gained weight and that was much needed.
The activities provided are very good and they have plenty of opportunities for little outings into the local area.
My uncle has a voice and this is valued, he has a choice in every aspect of his day to day living and feels very safe and loved.

Very happy with the care. Staff are amazing. Any problem is dealt with quickly. Love the entertainment that they now do, they are fabulous. The garden is lovely. Very happy! Office staff are very good.
Thankyou for your lovely comments, I will make sure that these are passed onto the care team.
Annesley Lodge is a lovely, friendly care home and the staff are fabulous. The residents are all very well looked after and seem quite happy. Couldn't wish for a nicer place for Mum.

My mother has been resident of Annesley Lodge for 2 years and is very happy here. The staff have so much time and patience with the residents it's inspiring. They are also very professional in everything they do. They are also excellent in updating me on everything concerning my mum.

My husband has been in this care home for the last 7 months and has settled in well. The staff are very friendly and helpful and do all they can to accommodate his needs. I am more than happy with the care home staff and the care they provide, but feel that at times there are not enough staff on shift as some residents, including my husband require at least 2 carers at a time for their needs to be met and that sometimes means other residents are kept waiting too long.
Thank you for reviewing Annesley Lodge. We appreciate your kind words and are glad your husband has settled in well. Its great to hear you find our staff friendly and helpful, and you're happy with the care provided. Please be assured, we regularly review staffing levels to safely meet our residents needs and are always happy to discuss any concerns at your convenience
He is kept very clean, thank you.

Staff are good but at times felt like it was understaffed. Staff approachable and willing to listen to concerns. The food looks good and looks like some nice activities. Christmas decorations looked lovely.

Care quality is excellent as always. The food provided is excellent. There can be no complaints about the food. The overall quality of the home could be improved with stable management.

Both my parents went into care at Annesley Lodge in March 2019. Both have now passed away. The care couldn't have been better.
My mum received end-of-life care at the home and we're so glad she was there. We spent her last 30 hours in her room with her, the staff were amazing, they provided us with refreshments throughout the whole time and kept checking in with us to see if we needed anything and making sure mum was comfortable. They knew mum well and treated her with dignity and respect until the end. They are worth their weight in gold.
The care my mum received at the home was nothing but very good. Her end-of-life care was so compassionate by all the staff. The carers genuinely cared about Mum and her needs. They all spoke fondly of her. They were there when we needed them. A massive thank you to all at Annesley Lodge.
Happy with mum's care overall. Staff are hands-on and on the ball. Unfortunately, the continuity of management in my opinion is poor. Been numerous managers and deputy managers, in turn, hinders smooth running. All floor and kitchen staff are excellent and have been throughout the difficult times we have encountered.
Thank you for taking the time to review Annesley Lodge. We are pleased that you rate our overall standard as very good and I will ensure that your kind comments are passed on to our team. In terms of management, our priority is the safety and wellbeing of our residents. We would be happy to discuss this with you at a mutually convenient time.
I am very pleased how the staff have supported my mum moving into Annesley Lodge during this difficult time of Covid-19. I feel my mum is in safe, friendly and caring hands. Staff are happy to answer any questions that I may have and they provide regular updates on my mum's progress. My mum has told me that she really enjoys the meals and the care staff are lovely. The home have put in place safe visiting precautions whether face-to-face or behind a screen, keeping us all safe from infection. Every member of the team I have spoken to has been friendly, professional and I would like to give my thanks to them all.
Annesley Lodge is a home from home, and the staff are extremely caring. At first, it was difficult to accept Mam's situation, but very quickly I knew we had made the right decision. The atmosphere is a happy one that I'm sure has been difficult to sustain over these terrible Covid months. When Mam has been poorly, the staff have constantly demonstrated professionalism and compassion and kept me updated. Mam is in good hands, even the 'non-care staff take an interest, a laugh and joke from them go a long way.
