Rosedale Care Home

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
My mum came to Rosedale after a fall and was in hospital for a few weeks. This has been a difficult time as my sister died a few weeks before my mum's fall and so she was very low in herself already. Going to a care home filled her with anxiety and fear. The manager went to see her in hospital before
she was moved into the care home, and was very kind and reassuring to her. When she arrived she was anxious and a bit low and Alex, the manager and all the staff made sure that she was reassured and looked after. She said that she felt right at home the moment she arrived. She has settled amazingly quickly and is now getting involved in activities and engaging with the other residents. I couldn't be more pleased and relieved about all the above.
The home is warm friendly and very comfortable. All areas of the home are spotlessly clean There is a nice relaxed atmosphere. Her room is large, light and airy. She is very much treated as an individual with respect, and superb care!

From the very first moment we walked into Allesley Hall we had a lovely feeling that this could be the right place for Dad to spend the time we would be fortunate enough to have with him.
We were greeted warmly and shown round. The entrance is spacious, clean, light & airy. All members of staff
seemed happy to welcome us.
We were so impressed we made plans on behalf of Dad to move him there. He had a ground floor room with en-suite wet room & kitchen.
We were not sorry with that decision. The home was always clean, the staff whatever their role were helpful, kind and welcoming every single day! We formed close bonds with the whole team something that helped whilst Dad was so poorly.
The end approached and dad's care was stepped up by everyone, always there when we needed them.
Dad's passing was so peaceful, it felt better than in a hospital and they had everything needed for his comfort during his passing.
I can only hope my children would choose Allesley Hall for me! Thank you all.

My mum went into King's Court Care Home on 31st July 2024. She is living with dementia, and the first few months were understandably hard for both her and me as we adjusted. She has since lost her hearing, which makes communication very difficult, but the staff are patient and kind, and always find
a way to connect with her. Over the last 6 months she has really settled in and is genuinely happy. She now calls King's Court her home. She tells me that everyone likes her and that she likes everyone who cares for her, and I can see that's true. I am grateful to all the team for the care, compassion, and warmth they show every day.

This is an excellent care home and you would be hard put to find anywhere better in the UK geared up for residents with differing types of dementia. A very nice caring atmosphere, cozy, friendly and well run. The garden is lovely and perfect as it allows secure walking outside with minimal supervision.
There are regular activities organized and the individual rooms are well arranged on the three floors. All the staff are excellent and in their own way have individual characters which make it easy to engage with them when visiting.

Orchard Manor provided excellent care for our mum. The staff were always genuinely kind, treated her with dignity and as one of the family. Mum settled quickly and was very happy there; nothing was too much trouble for the staff. They arranged regular activities and days out, including VE Day celebrations
and a trip to the zoo. We were always made welcome and kept informed, including regular updates of photos for the family. We highly recommend Orchard Manor to families looking for nursing care.

Mum came to stay here on a short term placement after leaving hospital. She was very anxious and confused due to her dementia and she had never stayed in a care home before. She was instantly made to feel very welcome. She is now happy and relaxed. Staff couldn't have been lovelier. They are kind and
attentive. It is such a relief to know mum is happy and being well looked after. Thank you.
