My dad was only at Orchard Manor for the last 2 weeks of his life. The care, attention, dignity and compassion shown to him and my mum was outstanding! It was truly one of the best homes I have experienced, and being an ex CQC inspector, I have seen the good, the bad, and the ugly.
Reply from Michelle Haspey, Home Manager at Orchard Manor Care Home

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful review. It was our privilege to care for your dad, even for a short time, and to be able to support both him and your mum during such an important part of his life. Your kind words mean a great deal to our whole team. We are truly touched by your feedback, especially given your background and experience. Knowing that we were able to provide the care, dignity, and compassion you describe is exactly what we strive for every day. With heartfelt thanks from all of us at Orchard Manor.

Orchard Manor provided excellent care for our mum. The staff were always genuinely kind, treated her with dignity and as one of the family. Mum settled quickly and was very happy there; nothing was too much trouble for the staff. They arranged regular activities and days out, including VE Day celebrations
and a trip to the zoo. We were always made welcome and kept informed, including regular updates of photos for the family. We highly recommend Orchard Manor to families looking for nursing care.

Mum came to stay here on a short term placement after leaving hospital. She was very anxious and confused due to her dementia and she had never stayed in a care home before. She was instantly made to feel very welcome. She is now happy and relaxed. Staff couldn't have been lovelier. They are kind and
attentive. It is such a relief to know mum is happy and being well looked after. Thank you.

Excellent Care Home, both short and long term needs

My mum was staying here for just over 4 months and during this time the staff really looked after her, taking into account all her needs and went out of their way to make her comfortable.

There is always plenty of members of staff on duty,

and the home was clean throughout and felt safe at all times.

They encourage users to take part in events, but as my mum is very independent, they accepted this, and accommodated for her needs.

The food was always well prepared and cooked, and the staff made me and family very welcome.

Thank you all, you made my mums stay very welcoming.

My dad was only in Allesley Hall for 6 days before he died. We had selected Allesley Hall and insisted to social services that he was discharged here due to him being attacked at a previous nursing home. We are so pleased that we did. In his final few days, he was treated with respect, kindness and
dignity. We feel that he had a peaceful death, which he deserved after the traumatic time he had. Thank you, Allesley Hall - you were amazing.

My Mum has been happy living at Allesley Hall over the past year.
It's a place that is run with care and kindness enabling me as family to know she is safe and happy. Staff will regularly phone to update me on things or will speak to me when I regularly visit.
They are definitely a home that has
a kind and open ethos with the opportunity to visit when ever you want and staff make a point to get to know residents families too, so they can ensure they are always meeting the residents needs.
There are regular meetings for residents to have a say on things within the home and meetings held for relatives to stay updated on news within the home.

St Alban's Nursing Home

Staff are always very helpful and polite and are very approachable. They also managed to get the right funding for my husband. He has dementia and needs a one to one care. I must say they are brilliant with him as he's often very agitated, sometimes aggressive and wondersome, especially at night. If
there are any problems the home will always give me a phone call so I'm always kept informed. I think the staff could interact with him a bit more but I know that depends on his mood. Overall I am very happy wtih the home and care my husband receives.

My elderly father has been in St Alban's Nursing Home since the end of January. The care he has received has been of a high standard. The staff are always helpful, even when working in extremely difficult situations.
